Star of this season's 90 Day Fiancé, Tania Returns from her trip to Costa Rica with a very underwhelming gift for her fiancé Syngin. She brought back two tiny gifts after being gone for a month.
29-year-old Tania and 29-year-old Syngin, met after Tania went to South Africa to meet another man from a dating app. After that relationship crashed and burned, Tania still decided to still make the trip and that's where she met bartender Syngin. After meeting him, she went home with him that night and ended up staying with her new man for months in his South African home. By all appearances, they seem like a suitable couple, however, it is the lack of common ground this couple has which is worrying to audiences. Tania comes off as opinionated, picky, and bossy to fan while Syngin is as easy-going as they come and in no rush to start a family. On the previous episodes this season, fans have watched as Syngin has been alone for 30 of the 90 days in Tania's half-finished she-shed in her mother's backyard. Tania had left to take an herbalist course in Costa Rica for a month and the two argued over keeping in contact.
Last week, Syngin could barely contain his excitement when he greeted Tania at the airport with a flower in hand. He then surprised her with another present once they got set back to the hotel. He said to the cameras, "Tania loves when I give her something personal that I made." Syngin gifted his bride-to-be a stone necklace that he made for her while she was gone. He told her the stone was "Mahogany Obsidian," which Syngin said is meant to rid the person of bad energy. Tania was thrilled with her gift and proceeded to give her finacé his "gifts" that she brought back from Costa Rica, check out the full preview clip below.
She said that she got him gifts and after some begging, she decided to give them to him then. She opened her purse and proceeded to hand her finacé his gift - some seeds. She explained, "So these seeds are for protection." Syngin said he would put the seeds in his pocket, in which she corrects him and puts them back in her purse. She then handed him her next present, as Syngin inspected the tiny shell he asked, "What the hell is this? It's a shell!" She adds, "It is a shell. I want you to like turn it into a necklace or bracelet for me." That's when Tania says, "You don't like it." But Syngin explained that he loves it, he's just not sure if it's for him or for her since she asked him to turn it into a necklace for her.
The rest of the clip shows the couple discussing that they only have five weeks left of Syngin's K-1 visa to get married before it expires. Many fans are irritated with Tania for being so flippant by leaving for 30 of the 90 days that she should have been planning their wedding. Either way, Tania didn't break the bank by giving Syngin a seed and a shell, so they should have plenty of money for their dream wedding.
