On September 12, Syngin teased his reality TV comeback in two months while also revealing that things were not so good in his personal life. Instagram fans concluded that Syngin would be appearing in 90 Day: The Single Life, as they stumbled upon a mystery woman called Erin who was posting about Tania’s husband on her account for several weeks. Erin was referred to as Syngin’s alleged girlfriend on the internet. However, it seems like Tania’s relationship update about him has now changed things.
On 90 Day Fiancé season 7, popular couple Tania and Syngin had a unique storyline that began after she bumped into him in South Africa, where she was to meet another man. Tania had ditched her date in the middle of the night and headed to a bar where Syngin was the bartender. The couple spent the night together, and Tania extended her trip into a two-month stay before she returned to the U.S. and applied for Syngin’s K-1 visa. Tania moved into her shed in Connecticut with Syngin but soon left him alone with her mother for a month during her Costa Rica trip to study natural medicine. While Tania and Syngin did get married and got matching tattoos instead of rings, on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? the South African man felt homesick. Tania kept taunting him over his drinking habits, and Syngin second-guessed his American dream.
When they did end up back in his country, Syngin and Tania fought some more but returned to America to show that they were still married despite their differences. Around April this year, Syngin started dropping hints about getting a divorce from Tania. The biggest clue was Syngin's photo taken at the Grand Canyon National Park, and fans also discovered his Arizona connection with Erin. Still, Syngin appears to have friend-zoned Erin amidst his apparent split from Tania.

Syngin and Erin attended the Goldrush Festival in Chandler, Arizona over the weekend. Erin, who goes by @anerinwithane on Instagram, shared plenty of updates from the festival with Syngin, including a selfie on her story. While Erin captioned the photo with, “Getting weird in the desert,” Syngin reposted it and added the caption, “Thanks for your friendship.” Erin then shared another pic of Syngin with his arm around her neck, on which she wrote, “What the f dude!!! Hahahaha jk love you to bits @syngin_colchester. Festie besties for life!!!” Meanwhile, Tania also claimed that Erin is Syngin’s friend and not a girlfriend.

On September 12, Tania shared a glam photo of herself on a dinner date. In the same post, Tania confirmed that she and Syngin are still married. “Are you single??????hahahaha,” Syngin commented on the pic, and Tania asked him to slide into her DMs. In the meantime, Tania complimented her husband on Syngin's latest post where she wrote, “Woooooow I'm such a good photographer 😂” But Tania did try and hush the split rumors by wishing Syngin a happy birthday with a series of romantic throwback photos and also added, “Love you😘” in her caption. Syngin’s response was, “You are the best ❤️❤️❤️ this is something I love wow.”

Fans are finding it hard to believe that Syngin and Tania don't have something strange going on in their marriage. In August, Syngin's alleged profile was spotted on dating app Bumble. Recently Tania made a bold assumption about Kourtney Kardashian and Megan Fox's love lives where she wrote, “I can't wait till Kourtney, Megan Fox, and their boyfriends all come out sharing that they all have s*x together” in an IG story. TLC viewers now think that Tania and Syngin could be in an open relationship or are polyamorous. It has been speculated that Syngin has already filmed for 90 Day: The Single Life in late August with Erin. In that case, Syngin and Tania possibly being into polygamy would make for some controversial 90 Day Fiancé content.
