Chrissy Teigen, a 90 Day Fiancé superfan, was surprised by 90 Day Fiancé superstar Darcey Silva with a personalized birthday video. It seems that the model is definitely team Darcey as she received a birthday Cameo from her friend.
Darcey if definitely one of the most recognizable women on the entire franchise, after trying her hand at long-distance love on the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. On season 1 and 2 of the series, Darcey traveled all the way from Connecticut to meet her much younger long-distance boyfriend, Jesse Meester, all the way in Amsterdam. The rocky relationship fell apart and have since parted ways before the engagement. She then went behind the scenes and appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk with her twin sister, Stacey Silva. Most recently, Darcey went to London to try her hand at love with Englishman Tom Brooks, though it's been rumored that the pair have since split.
Darcey's endearing honesty, alcohol-induced crying spells, and her passion for all things glamor has fans divided on whether to love her or to hate her. She's turned her knack for losing men into a way to gain money through sharing personalized messages on Cameo for $50 a pop. Teigen is a self-professed reality TV fan who has apparently has fallen in love with the 90 Day Fiancé universe. She's even tweeted about her love for the show, saying that she specifically loved season 4. On the model's birthday on November 30th, Teigen's friend, Yashar Ali, tweeted a sweet birthday message along with a personalized video message from Darcey. See the Tweet below:
Teigen's friend, Ali wrote, "Because you are such a dork, I know there is nothing I could get you that would make you as happy as one of your favorite reality show stars wishing you a happy birthday. Thank you to the wonderful and sweet [Darcey Silva] for filming this!" In the video, Darcey spoke to the camera, saying, "Chrissy, it’s your girl, Darcey! Oh my God! I’m so excited, I just wanted to say happy birthday, beautiful! You deserve the best B-day ever, you’re amazing." Darcey continued to gush to the model, saying, "You’re a bright, shining light like the one behind me, even stronger, better." The 45-year-old reality TV star continued, "I was so grateful to meet you and I just can’t wait to hopefully meet you again one day." She closed the video saying, "Sending you all the love and positive energy and best wishes to you. Blow those candles out girl, you know your wishes are coming true, always and forever." And of course, Teigen was over the moon in love with the gift. She wrote, "[Weary face emoji] I need nothing else <3 <3 <3."
It seems that even Teigen - a supermodel, New York Times bestselling author, and wife to People's Sexiest Man Alive 2019 - still gets star-struck when it comes to seeing her favorite 90 Day Fiancé star speak to her directly. Though it seemed like Darcey was just as excited to be able to do a personalized birthday message to one of her favorite stars.
