Sumit Singh of 90 Day Fiancé shared an old picture with Jenny Slatten from the time they were in lockdown. The Indian native is looking quite different from his appearance on the show, so many fans are calling him a catfish again. Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers may remember Jenny met Sumit online when he was claiming to be a UK-based 25-year-old single guy named Michael Jones. In reality, he was a married man living in India and working as a call center employee.
He was used to posting random celebrity photos as his profile picture, and Jenny never seemed to doubt it. He once used an image of SClub7 singer Rachel Stevens's husband, Alex Bourne. The 90 Day Fiancé star Sumit also shared Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor's photo and claimed that the picture was taken when he was 19-years-old. Sumit and Jenny first started talking on Facebook in 2012 and shared many lovey-dovey messages online. However, he eventually told Jenny that he was lying about being Michael from the UK.
He assumed that Jenny wouldn't date him if she knew he was from India, so he pretended to be someone else. The Palm Springs native Jenny forgave Sumit and soon planned to come to India to meet him in person. However, she was then shocked to learn that her Indian prince was already married. Since Sumit has a reputation for deceiving other people, his new picture is being mocked on Instagram. He recently posted a lovely photo with Jenny remembering the time when India was in lockdown, and his beard and hair needed a trim badly.
He posted the picture with the caption, "Our first lockdown together in 2020. Long beard and hair. I know lockdown was not fun but how was yours?" Sumit joked and asked how many of his IG followers turned into Tom Hanks from the movie Cast Away. But a fan page reposted the picture saying that Sumit "switches his looks up so often." Other fans laughed and agreed he has a tendency to change his appearance. A fan wrote (via @90daythemelanatedway), "Yes he likes to pretend to be different people! #catfishmuch." Someone else commented, "His eyes are screaming HELP."
The TLC star Sumit Singh may have been a catfish initially, but he is now genuinely in love with Jenny. The couple wants to get married in India, but Sumit's parents are completely against their relationship. However, the new trailer of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3 suggests that Jenny may leave him if he doesn't get married to her.
