Before 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Jenny Slatten was wondering if she’d ever get married to Sumit Singh in India, the season 3 star was busy chatting with Michael Jones, 25, on Facebook. But alas, Michael turned out to be Sumit, 30, a call-center employee, who Jenny, 60, forgave as feelings were already involved. After moving back and forth to India plenty of times since, Jenny is still together with Sumit, amid fans still suspicious of him using her for a green card. Jenny has been called desperate for sticking by Sumit who even kept his wife a secret, but his Michael Jones Facebook profile reveals how badly the 90 Day Fiancé star had fallen for his charms.
In season 1 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, fans met Jenny from Palm Springs, packing her bags to move to India with her oldest daughter Christina. Jenny spoke of having been married for 15 years until her husband left her for someone else, damaging her self-esteem. Jenny then received a friend request from “Michael Jones” who looked like “an Englishman” and was “silly and fun” and made her laugh. Although skeptical, Jenny went along with it and was told by Michael that he was Sumit via a Skype call. The 90 Day Fiancé star cried but accepted Sumit since he was “cuter than Michael Jones.” As per Jenny, Sumit was scared Jenny wouldn’t accept him “because he’s Indian.” However, Jenny kept Michael Jones a secret from her family as she “didn’t want it stopped.”

As previously reported, Michael Jones’ Facebook page still exists, documenting how 90 Day Fiancé star Sumit was fooling Jenny from 2012. In fact, Jenny’s first-ever conversation with Sumit can be traced to this photo of Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, which Michael Jones claims is his from when he was “19” after Jenny asks him for “a more recent pic ???” Reddit user Ninjaaturtlepanguin has dug deeper into Sumit’s Michael Jones persona to find more embarrassing exchanges between him and Jenny which they’ve posted with the caption, “Online Love story of Michael Jones and Jenny Jones.” The 90 Day Fiancé viewer jokes that they’ve collaborated screenshots of “the beginning, the secksy fantasy talk, some relationship issue, some living arrangement issue and an apology.”
Michael Jones Is A Doppelganger of Rachel Stevens’ husband Alex Bourne
While Sumit used photos of the S Club 7 singer Rachel’s husband Alex Bourne, alongside Ranbir Kapoor, TLC did seemed to have shown pics of a different man when Jenny spoke of “Michael Jones.” However, as per some screenshots, Jenny thought he looked like Enrique Iglesias too. “I CAN BE UR HERO…. BABY <3” Sumit has written for Jenny as Michael, to which she’s replied with, “U ALREADY ARE 😉” and “SUCH A SEXY VIDEO, U LOOK LIKE JIM 2 😉” While flirting back, Sumit has also told Jenny that she looks “much much better” than the young model in the music video, apparently, in his “dreamz.” Funnily, on one of his catfish photos which Jenny suspects “came from a magazine,” Sumit has assured her that it was his “colleague” who took the photo.
Michael Jones Was Head Over Heels For Jenny
Not only is 90 Day Fiancé star Jenny in the cover photo of Michael Jones’ profile, but she also looks unrecognizable while holding up her red solo cup and soaking up some sun. Several other Jenny throwbacks from 2012 have been shared by Sumit’s Michael Jones, who’s not shied away from professing his love for her with every “muah muah” and “love u too baby and calling her his "wife." On season 1 of 90 Day Fiancé, Sumit had confessed that as a call center employee he had to talk to Americans “all day.” Sumit had added, “In our call center we have to use a Western sounding name to talk with customer.” Apparently, Sumit was told at work that the guy who worked before him at his station was using Michael Jones. “From today, your name is Michael Jones,” his company told Sumit, and since he worked at night shifts, it was hard for him to meet people in India. “So while I was working I was just talking with Western girls using the internet and that’s how I met Jenny online,” 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’s Sumit had confessed. “I really fell in love with her big blue eyes and beautiful smile,” and that’s how the great 90 Day Fiancé romance of Sumit and Jenny began.
