It's no secret that the 90 Day Fiancé franchise features lots of the same cast members throughout its seasons and spin-off shows, but there are also some show alums that remain popular even after they leave the franchise. Some 90 Day Fiancé stars get fired from the franchise, forcing them to leave. This has happened in the past when the producers discover a criminal past, or cast members post something problematic on social media. However, there are also some 90 Day Fiancé alum leave on their own accord. Many of these former stars remain popular among viewers, even when they're no longer in the spotlight.

Just like social media posts can lead to a star getting fired, social media is often also what keeps 90 Day Fiancé cast members relevant long after they're finished with the franchise. In many cases, cast members see lots of new followers after their time on the show. Many 90 Day Fiancé stars capitalize on their newfound fame by becoming influencers, which ensures that their fan base sticks around. Similarly, many familiar faces from the franchise start careers as entrepreneurs after leaving the show. This also helps them maintain their fans after they're no longer on the air.

Even if they didn't apply for 90 Day Fiancé with the intention of being famous, having careers in social media and as an entrepreneur are two main ways franchise stars remain relevant. Many cast members have built a following on Instagram, but also on platforms like YouTube. For example, Akinyi Obala and Benjamin Taylor from 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 3 aren't super active in the franchise, but have a fairly popular YouTube channel where they discuss married life. Larry Passariello and Jenny Torres from Before the 90 Days season 1 also discuss their relationship and travels on their YouTube channel. However, they've been on a few spin-off shows. However, there are many other cast members who left the franchise entirely, but still have a fan base.

Larissa Lima

This 90 Day Fiancé season 6 star is an unusual case, because she didn't get her fan base until after the show. When Larissa Lima featured on the show alongside her then-fiancé Colt Johnson, many viewers found her hard to watch. However, after the show aired, the Brazilian woman started a YouTube channel, and gained many fans there and on Instagram. The 90 Day Fiancé franchise cast member also found a lucrative career sharing adults-only content on OnlyFans. Due to her contract with the adult platform CamSoda, Larissa was fired from the franchise. However, she has many fans now, and some hail her as the queen of 90 Day Fiancé.

Erika Owens

After appearing on Before the 90 Days season 4 with her then-sort-of-girlfriend Stephanie Matto, Australia-based photographer Erika Owns amassed a sizable social media following. Fans of the franchise love her colorful fashion videos on Instagram and TikTok. The creative 90 Day Fiancé franchise alum has also started a jewelry line called Glitter Buggin Crafts. Although Erika hasn't appeared on any other 90 Day Fiancé spin-offs, she has many loyal fans who interact heavily with her content. Her former partner Stephanie has earned a massive social media following as well, but she is still starring in 90 Day Fiancé spin-offs. The two reality show cast members have a very different fan base, but are both still highly popular in their own right.

Omar Albakour & Avery Mills

Omar Albakour and Avery Mills have maintained a decent amount of social media followers despite not having appeared on the show since Before the 90 Days season 3. Viewers were enthralled with their storyline, which involved U.S. woman Avery moving to Dubai to live with Omar, who's from Syria. Omar and Avery have made it clear they don't plan on returning to the 90 Day Fiancé franchise,  although no further details have been provided. Currently, they continue to share their story on Instagram and YouTube. These two receive lots of love on social media, and have also been hailed as one of the least problematic couples of the franchise.
