90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Steven Johnston claiming that he’s kissed 100 girls has left fans feeling he lied to Russian girlfriend Alina. Utah resident Steven with a “V” has become a franchise villain steadily owing to his hypocrisy and poor treatment of Alina in Turkey. While Steven teased his big secret during the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off’s premiere episode itself, it wasn’t what fans expected when he finally revealed it. Not only did Steven tell Alina that he’s not a virgin during their wine tasting date, but he’s also not confessed that he’s made out with over a hundred girls.
Steven came clean to Alina about him breaking his Commandments, and she called him out on his hypocrisy, earning instant praise from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers. As Alina sipped her wine out of anger, Steven asking her, “Did you just drink that wine?” and her replying with, “Did you just slept with other girls?” became one of the best moments of season 3. Yet, while Alina dealt with the shocking confessions of Steven while being level-headed, it’s fans who couldn’t wrap their heads around what Steven had just said. Steven, who didn’t agree to sleep in the same apartment as Alina, had kissed with more than 100 girls and had become intimate with about “two dozen.”
Steven also accepted that he’d slept with four or five, and his last encounter with a woman was when he was in a relationship with Alina. The aspiring digital illustrator Alina turned quiet as she tried to process Steven’s admission, but 90 Day Fiancé fans openly expressed shock at what he had just blurted out. Even 90 Day Fiancé star Syngin Colchester showed disbelief in Steven’s claims when he left a “Hahahahahahaha” comment under 90 Day Fiancé’s Instagram post with a clip from the scene. “he’s got you beat on the making out part huh bud ?” a fan asked the South African celeb. And Syngin, who soon appears on 90 Day: The Single Life, replied with, “hahahaha sure looks that way 🔥🔥”
Even on the 90 Day Fiancé YouTube page, fans posted comments such as, “He must be lying. She found the 100+ thing fairly amusing” and “no way he has gotten THAT MUCH action🤣” Fans are of the opinion that Steven is possibly over-exaggerating the number since the relationship itself gives him a massive ego boost. While he knows that his words would break Alina’s heart, he also wants to put on a façade “of being some kind of stud,” wrote a different fan. Fans are calling Steven a liar and wondering if these girls were a part of his dreams. Some are also creeped out by him actually keeping a count and also if it’s his sly trick to wriggle out of getting married to Alina.
Interestingly, 90 Day Fiancé viewers are swearing that they saw Alina smile when Steven was blabbering about his supposed conquests, perhaps hinting at her knowing it was an outright lie. Likewise, she did continue staying with him despite his big revelation and invited her mom Anna to Turkey instead. For now, even Alina is having second thoughts about marrying Steven and her mom is suggesting they break up. But there are also viewers who suspect it’s a fake storyline by 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way since several clues suggest Steven and Alina are mostly still together.
