90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans caught Steven Johnston flirting on Instagram red-handed after photographic proof confirmed he and Alina are still together. Russian girl Alina, 21, had met Steven, 25, on a language exchange platform and felt an immediate connection with the kind and funny Mormon man. But perhaps Steven didn’t feel the same way as he soon asked Alina permission to date other girls in their long-distance relationship. Alina's refusal didn’t stop Steven, who already wasn’t a virgin, from doing so. Surely 90 Day Fiancé fans expected Alina to break up with Steven after his latest shocking confession. But she hasn’t and fans saw Steven sending thirsty replies on IG.
If Alina, who’s following the rules of the Mormon church after she agreed to get baptized, thought that Steven was doing the same, she was gravely mistaken. The Utah native wasn’t taking his religious convictions as seriously as Alina and on episode 7 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way revealed that he had not only made out with 100 plus girls, been intimate with over two dozen but also slept with one while Alina believed they were exclusive. After the episode, fans expected Alina to have left Steven for good and gone back to Russia. In real-time, Alina documented her trip to Greece with her mother on Instagram and Steven was nowhere to be seen.
But immediately after, a photo circulated online and showed that the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way couple is still together and Steven was in fact, in Crete with Alina and her mother. And now, Reddit user u/ALittleGoat happened to share a screenshot showing Steven trying to flirt with a person who had left a comment on his shirtless photo from years ago. “He's not even subtle about it,” the 90 Day Fiancé fan wrote as the screenshot showed the person asking, “Is that in California?” and Steven replying to them with “Nope it's in Yellow Fork Canyon” on 15 October 2018. However, Steven has replied to the comment again two weeks ago on 23 September this year with, “How are you doing?”
Amusingly, the post also has a comment from Steven’s 90 Day Fiancé partner and aspiring digital artist Alina that has her flirting with him by writing, “🔥 Wow you are the sexiest boy! Please be my boyfriend 😍.” In the comments on the Reddit thread, one fan u/MicisOn has written, “Mans has no shame in publicly following up 100weeks later.” Another TLC viewer u/Organicspongie wrote, “He’s so thirsty 😂” On the other hand, fans wondered if Steven had photoshopped his tricep in the photo or used a smoothening filter on it. He was also compared to 90 Day Fiancé season 8 bad guy Andrew Kenton, but quite recently Steven has pulled up as the TOW season 3 villain himself.
Steven didn’t give fans positive vibes since his 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way debut due to his creepy talk about kidnapping and selling organs. But Alina might be sliding down the popularity meter just by continuing to stay with Steven despite everything. TLC viewers have been supporting Alina’s boss behavior especially after the wine tasting scene and how maturely she handled Steven spilling the secrets of his sexual past. That being said, it’s too soon to decide how and why Alina chooses to stay with Steven. Fans are hoping that the 90 Day Fiancé couple has not tricked them with their unsettling storyline and that Alina is happy wherever she is.
