90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Steven Johnston has still not deleted his Instagram despite the many warnings that his girlfriend, Alina, has given him. At 21, Alina sacrificed her family, friends, career, coffee, and wine in an attempt to convert to Mormonism for Steven, who she planned on marrying in Turkey. But their Antalya trip has been a disaster so far as Steven confessed to having kissed an estimated 100 women and cheating on Alina at the beginning of their long-distance courtship because he believed they weren’t exclusive at the time. When Alina gave Steven a second chance, she expected him to fully delete social media to stop him from flirting with anyone else.

During their sauna session on the Oct. 24 episode, Steven apologized and accepted that he had been hypocritical, but deleting social media is where he drew the line. Alina wanted to hear fewer promises and see more action from Steven when it came to getting rid of his accounts, but he claimed that she was merely being insecure despite his prior transgressions. Steven made one good point, noting that he didn’t have a cell phone plan to keep in touch with his family overseas, so needed the apps in case of emergency. However, Alina’s friend Masha told her that Steven was still flirtatiously messaging her and had also invited her to Turkey as long as she brought a swimsuit, further causing Alina to mistrust him. Meanwhile, Steven kept delaying the deleting and admitted that he regretted promising her he would, a sign Alina took to mean that he had no intention of being faithful in his DMs.

Still, the end of episode 9 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way saw Steven declaring that he’d delete his pages after he got a backup of his photos, which many fans saw as just another way to stall making good on his promise to Alina. And he still hasn't deleted all of his accounts. Like most of his 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way co-stars Steven has had an Instagram page since before season 3 began airing. So far, Steven has amassed over 5,000 Instagram followers and is following 196 people. In his latest update, Steven shared BTS photos of his Turkey trip with Alina and tried to explain the discrepancy between his words on the show and his actions in real life. “Since that scene I still have not created a new Facebook, TikTok, or any other social media,” Steven wrote in his caption. “Besides Instagram which she was okay with me keeping,” he added. Basically, Steven wants fans to know that he's not up to as much shady behavior as they might think by watching him and Alina bicker about loyalty on show.

This most recent update still hasn't convinced viewers that Steven really has Alina's best interest at heart. Fans have started noticing that whenever Alina confronts Steven about a relationship hiccup, Steven tries to make it look like she's just imagining things or that it's her fault for setting him up. This might be true, but he did fall for the "trap," after all.

This amongst the many other red flags Steven exhibits should have been enough for Alina to break up with him, according to fans rooting for the young Russian woman. But Alina and Steven were spotted together during their ongoing Greece vacation, meaning that Alina went back to Steven and chose to forgive him for taking so long to delete his accounts, all but cheating on her, and holding her to a double standard when it comes to his faith. At this point, let's hope Alina has his Insta password because fans are starting to truly worry about the fate of this couple.
