Stephanie is more interested in controlling Erika on 90 Day Fiancé than getting to know her. The odd couple seems to be realizing that their relationship may not be perfect and will not last the month trip.
Since the new season premiered, fans watched as Stephanie Matto had decided to travel to Australia to meet her girlfriend, Erika Owens. Matto currently makes a living as a YouTube personality and lives in Yonkers, New York. The 29-year-old was born in the Czech Republic but moved to the United States when she was 7 years old. The YouTuber enjoys vlogging about her travel and fashion trends. While Owens is a natural free spirit who makes a living taking photos.
Fans had such high hopes for the first bisexual couple, but they are being dashed thanks to Stephanie’s controlling personality. TLC viewers watched as Stephanie kept causing drama in her own relationship thanks to her insecurities. She shared with the cameras that she had been hurt by her past boyfriends and did not know to trust people. This insecurity leads her to try and control every situation she finds herself in, but in reality, she only ends up hurting other people. After the couple’s last fight, Owens decided to apologize and bring a gift of Australian followers. But many fans thought that Owens was right to be mad at Matto as she kept showering her with gifts but at the same time was having her opinions written off.
Matto admitted on Sunday’s episode that she had a motive to meeting her girlfriend’s friends as they had all been intimate with one another and she wanted to get to the bottom of it. Bewildered fans could not understand why the reality star had such a problem with the incestuous group of friends as most people have hooked up with a close buddy. There was no purpose for Matto quizzing all of Owens’s friends as all it did was alienate her from the group. Naturally, the Australian was dumbfounded with Matto’s behavior. It only got worse when Matto started yelling at her in front of everyone.
Each week, more and more red flags are thrown into the air due to the TLC personality and her inability to compromise. There are only so many bad relationships that you can blame before a person has to look within themselves and realize maybe it is them. In general, TLC fanatics have been let down by the women’s storyline as it seems that Matto has lied about a lot as it was discovered she not only came out three years ago on her vlog but she also dated an Australian man before Owens. There is no trust left in what Matto says and fans are over their relationship.
