Darcey and Stacey Silva are iconic cast-members of 90 Day Fiancé, but little is known about Stacey's ex-husband, Goran Vasic, and their kids. As Darcey was on three seasons of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, viewers got to see her amazing twintuition with Stacey. Soon enough, the Silva twins got their own spin-off, Darcey & Stacey. But compared to Darcey, fans know less about Stacey. As the Darcey & Stacey star prepares to walk down the quarantine aisle next week with Florian Sukaj, here’s everything to know about Stacey's ex and their children.
Darcey’s lovable antics as she looks for love and her level-headed sister Stacey’s relationship advice are a treat to watch on TLC. 90 Day Fiancé fans have come to fall in love with the twins, and Darcey & Stacey provides a fun insight into their personal lives. There’s lots of drama involved. However, the rest of the Silva family adds to the wholesomeness of the reality show. Darcey and Stacey’s mother, Nancy. and their father, Mike Silva, are a hit with 90 Day Fiancé fans. The same can be said about Darcey’s own daughters, Aniko and Aspen Bollok, who’ve been with their mother on-camera since she first met Jesse Meester. Although the Darcey & Stacey sisters have spoken about getting married, having two kids together, and even getting divorced around the same time, Stacey’s sons have never made an appearance on the series.
Stacey Silva's husband Goran was first introduced to fans ten years ago in the trailer for The Twin Life. The Darcey & Stacey star talks about her ex-husband as a poster of him flashes on the screen. Stacey adds that she met Goran in Houston, Texas when he was playing professional soccer and he came from Serbia. “It was kind of like a love at first sight kind of thing,” the 90 Day Fiancé star adds. Goran reveals he played for the last 20 years and just retired to become a professional coach. Stacey explains that, just like Florian, Goran didn’t speak English fluently back then. “I remember him saying, ‘Hello, my name is Goran,’ but he had this thick accent,” shares Stacey, who first thought his name was Gordon. Goran states he now has his own company called Goran Vasic Soccer Academy, as well as two championships.
Stacey’s ex-husband’s academy is still going strong after he first founded the GVSA in 2006 in Middletown, Connecticut. Goran is a USSF “A” license coach since 2006 and is also now the director of coaching at Middletown Youth Soccer, CT. Additionally, per his website, Goran has been the Connecticut ODP boys head coach from 2014 to now. Goran hosts the GVSA 2020 summer soccer program every year and shares updates of the same regularly. Goran is now married to Christine Zglobicki, according to his Facebook page.
Stacey had shared in a previous interview that her sons Parker and Mateo Vasic are private but could make an appearance on Darcey & Stacey “maybe one day.” She mentioned Parker and Mateo have met Florian and that “they’re behind the scenes and they’re a part of my life. They’re my everything, they’re my world, they’re my number one. They’re rooting us on.” Just like in Darcey’s case, it appears Stacey has joint custody of her sons, and Goran is often seen sharing their life updates on social media. In August, Goran posted about 17-year-old Mateo’s birthday and senior year at school saying, “My handsome son Mateo after his senior photoshoot today." Parker, who turned 16 this September, recently appeared on Darcey and Stacey-owned House of Eleven’s Instagram as a model with cousin Aniko.
Given the fact that Stacey will be seen getting married to Florian, her sons are likely to show up on-screen for the celebrations. However, since they haven’t really made their reality TV debut yet, there's also a chance Parker and Mateo might just continue cheering for their 90 Day Fiancé star mom off-screen.
