As 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days dove deeper into Usman "Sojaboy" Umar's relationship with Kim Menzies, there were questions regarding why the identity of his ex-wife Lisa "Babygirl" Hamme was being erased. Usman was unsure whether 50-year-old Kimberly was worthy of filling his first wife’s shoes even though she proved her loyalty in many ways. Kim openly said she would allow Usman to have multiple wives if he wanted to have kids. The root of the marriage problems between Usman and Lisa was that she was jealous of his female fans, but Kim vowed to support his music career. Despite her support, Usman and Kim broke up.

Usman's relationship with Lisa was heavily documented on 90 Day Fiancé, so it's interesting he attempted to erase their history when he got together with Kim. Usman first contacted Lisa on Facebook and proved he was real by video-calling her. Within a month, Lisa and Usman were chatting “sensuously” on video calls. Nine months later, he proposed to her, and two years later, Lisa flew to Nigeria. However, things didn’t quite go as planned after Lisa and Usman met, as the American woman complained about everything, from his career to his culture. Nevertheless, the pair married in the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days finale. Why did Usman stop talking about Lisa?

Lisa and Usman Had a Troubled Relationship

Lisa and Usman had split in May 2020 and had been estranged for months before that. Lisa complained that Sojaboy had used her to be on a TV show in an attempt to promote his music, and she claimed that he was a cheater. Meanwhile, Usman alleged that he had only agreed to marry Lisa because she threatened suicide if they broke up. During the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4 Tell-All, Sojaboy revealed that Lisa had used racial slurs against him.

Some ten-odd hours worth of Tell-All footage was leaked online. In the clips, Usman accused his ex-wife of using the racial slur one week before the reunion episode was filmed. “Lisa, last week you called me ni**er, which I know is totally inappropriate in America. You called me ni**er, I don’t even get angry about it because I am used to how you are behaving,” he revealed. Lisa was subsequently fired from 90 Day Fiancé.

Meanwhile, Lisa never denied using that slur but did apologize until Usman further claimed she’d used the word on more than one occasion. The segment was cut from the final Tell-All. However, by June 2020, numerous sources reported that the network fired Lisa over her use of racial slurs and because of significant backlash from the viewers on social media. Lisa’s time on B90 Strikes Back was seemingly cut short. However, Lisa alleges she was never fired.

Lisa Has Been Cut From 90 Day Fiancé

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days likely forbade production or cast from speaking about Lisa due to her unacceptable behavior on the show. Her name was never mentioned during the segments, and a flashback scene of Usman and Lisa getting married only showed her hand. Usman is probably happy to forget about his time with Lisa.

Lisa called out Usman publicly for using 90 Day Fiancé as a platform to promote his music, but 90 Day Fiancé has rightfully scrubbed Lisa's face and name from the show. While Kim and Usman are no longer together, simply being with a woman who didn't use racial slurs against him seemed to be a step in the right direction.
