90 Day Fiancé supporting cast member Skyla Rae penned an emotional note for her mother, Angela Deem, in which she shared some unknown facts about Angela and revealed her softer side. Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers think that slimmer-looking Angela is an overly jealous wife to her Nigerian husband, Michael Ilesanmi. She hasn't allowed him to have female friends or even talk to any woman. The 55-year-young meemaw didn't even allow her husband to have a separate bachelor party and insisted on having a joint bachelor(ette) party.
She created a big scene and almost called off the wedding when she thought Michael was looking at a dancer. In another scene, Angela lost her cool and threw a cake on her husband's face. In the last few seasons of the show, she acted ruthlessly towards him and got labeled as a physical, verbal and mental abuser. That's why a 90 Day Fiancé fan started a petition online to get "trashy" Angela removed from the show. The petition is still active, and it needs 5,000 signatures. About 3,000 people have already signed it.
However, Skyla has just introduced 90 Day Fiancé fans to Angela's motherly side on Instagram. On the occasion of Mother's Day, she posted a lengthy post dedicated to her mother. She called Angela "strong, brave, independent, funny, smart, sweet and talented." Skyla sees her mother as a star who can light up the room with her presence. She is proud that people want to be around her mother. She added, "I've always wanted to be charismatic like that!" Skyla revealed that Angela always had two jobs, and she never relied on her partner. Her "go-getter" mother taught her how to work hard and be strong and independent.
Angela was always there for her daughter. Whenever Skyla played basketball, she was her biggest supporter, and the whole gym knew Angela was her mother. Skyla continued, "Whenever I would feel insecure and unsure of myself, she would empower me and remind me of my capabilities!" Skyla is thankful for being blessed with such a strong mom who instilled self-confidence in her. To conclude the post, Skyla wrote, "She truly is amazing in every way! Happy Mother's Day Momma! Hope you know you are loved and appreciated in every way!"

Angela has also been appreciated for her caring nature towards her six grandkids. In the latest episode, she talked to them about her weight loss surgery, and that scene melted many viewers' hearts. She showed off a different side while speaking softly to her grandkids. Still, many fans think she is bossy and controlling. Even though her 90 day Fiancé husband doesn't want her to get a risky weight loss surgery, she will do it in the next episode of the spin-off series.
