Although 90 Day Fiancé season 9 discusses Miona Bell moving to the United States for the first time, there are several hints that suggest the Serbian makeup artist lived in the U.S. prior to the show. Miona first met her partner Jibri Bell when he was performing in Serbia with his band, the Black Serbs. The South Dakota man saw Miona in the crowd.

When that show was over, the two hit it off. They got engaged in Thailand in 2019, and then spent a few years meeting up around the world. When viewers were first introduced to Jibri, he had moved back in with his parents in South Dakota in order to save money. He was preparing to welcome Miona into the house to start their 90 day phase. After that, they would need to get married or she'd have to leave the country.

According to previews for the show, one conflict between Miona and Jibri is that the Serbian beauty does not want to live in South Dakota. Instead, the 90 Day Fiancé newcomer would rather live in Los Angeles. However, Jibri is adamant that they must move in with his parents to save up money for a while first. In the first episode, Jibri's mom Mahala Bach expresses her own concerns over her son's partner coming to live with them. Having seen the makeup artist's Instagram presence, Mahala is concerned that Miona tends to wear revealing outfits, and tells her son she doesn't want Miona to wear that type of clothing in the house. However, many fans think his mom's concerns were scripted, and that she met Miona long before filming.

Curious 90 Day Fiancé Fans Unearthed Facts

90 Day Fiancé's Miona and Jibri

Even before the first episode of 90 Day Fiancé season 9 aired, sleuthing fans found clues that Jibri and Miona appeared to be married ahead of filming their segments on the show. One big hint supporting this is the fact that they clearly already share the same last name, Bell. In addition, despite the plot point that Miona wants to move to Los Angeles but is forced to stay in South Dakota, the Instagram account for her makeup business Miona Makeup states that she is based in Palm Springs, California. While that's not Los Angeles, Palm Springs is only around a two-hour drive from L.A.

Miona Bell's TikTok Tells A Story

What's more, Miona recently took to her Instagram Story to share a TikTok video of Jibri reading in Serbian, stating that the video took place a year ago. However, in the caption, Miona refers to Jibri as her fiance, not her husband. In addition, it is unclear if the video was shot in Serbia or in America. However, viewers did notice that on the day that the first episode of 90 Day Fiancé season 9 aired, Miona reposted one of her friend's photos on her Instagram Story. It featured herself watching her TV debut. In the background of the photo, an American flag was clearly shown. Of course, the show chronicles the journey of international partners coming to the U.S., but it's the fact that she shares a last name with Jibri already (and the fact that her business is already based in Southern California) that makes fans raise their eyebrows.

Miona and Jibri's storyline is not the only one in 90 Day Fiancé season 9 that seems to have been fabricated by TLC. There are also clues that their fellow cast members Kara Bass and Guillermo Rojer were already married long before filming for the show. Also floating around the Internet are hints that Bilal Hazziez did not scheme up the plan to prank his fiancee Shaeeda Sween, but that the "prank" storyline was producer-driven. Of course, 90 Day Fiancé season 9 has just begun, and viewers have not even met Miona in person yet, so fans will have to continue watching to see what happens next.
