Anna Campisi and Mursel Mistanoglu from 90 Day Fiancé season 9 have just had a baby through surrogacy, and many fans think that the couple will be amazing parents to their new son. Nebraska woman Anna and Turkish man Mursel, who are both in their early 40s, met in an online beekeeping group, and connected through their mutual love of beekeeping. However, they had a massive language barrier, which made viewers concerned about how long they would last. In fact, Mursel left Nebraska for Turkey when his family found out that Anna had three kids from a previous marriage, and got upset. Many viewers sobbed right along with Anna and Mursel when they thought they were saying goodbye forever.

Everyone was relieved when Mursel turned around and came back just in time to get married to Anna before the 90 day period was up. Since their wedding, Mursel has begun to participate in Anna's business, Beauty & The Bees Honey. He also opened his own furniture store. Despite their fan-favorite status, the 90 Day Fiancé stars got some backlash when they announced that they'd be using a surrogate for their baby, which is illegal in Turkey.

What's more, the couple chose a Ukrainian surrogate mother last year, before the war started. Fans had mixed feelings about the whole situation. Anna and Mursel went to the Ukraine to meet their son, Gokhan, in early April, when he was born 5 weeks early. They met the surrogate mother as well, and said she's doing well after the birth.

Fans Believe In Anna & Mursel

Even if fans have mixed emotions about the surrogacy, many viewers think that Anna and Mursel will make amazing parents. For starters, 90 Day Fiancé viewers largely consider Anna and Mursel to be of the most authentic couples in the franchise. Reddit user u/iamhotsoup recently referred to the couple as a rare "genuine relationship" to come out of the reality empire. Fans are used to seeing couples fighting onscreen, and have expressed that they miss authentic couples. Anna and Mursel got married and stayed together, despite distance, language barriers, differing religions, and family drama. This shows that they truly love each other. Parents who are really in love typically tend to create happy homes to raise children in.

What's more, the couple was already preparing for a newborn before Gokhan's arrival. Anna recently expanded her company to sell soap made from breast milk, for mothers of newborns. Customers may send her their breast milk, which she will make into soap. She has explained that breast milk is a natural skin treatment that is good for newborn babies' skin. This adjustment to Anna's product, which she made before her baby's arrival, shows her preparedness. In addition, Anna has had lots of experience with infants, as she had three children before the birth of her baby. Gokhan is Anna's fourth son. Although Mursel did not previously have any children of his own, it's clear how much he loves Anna, and he wanted to have a child with her although they would need a surrogate's help.

Many of the other couples from 90 Day Fiancé season 7 have split since their debut. As of this writing, it's about half and half. Most fans are thrilled that Anna and Mursel are in the half that stayed together. Diehard franchise fans know that it's often the couples with the most odds against them that end up being in it for the long run. As if the language barrier wasn't enough, their segment was the only time in 90 Day Fiancé history that one half of the couple returned to their country before the 90 days was up, and then came back. Also, this couple welcomed a baby through surrogacy, in another country, during a war. Despite a range of challenges, it's clear to viewers how much Anna and Mursel truly care for each other. Anna recently revealed that TLC didn't want to cover their surrogacy journey, but it's unclear if they'll be on a future 90 Day Fiancé spin-off.
