As the new season of 90 Day Fiancé airs, viewers are scrambling to learn more about the newcomers, including their Instagram followers. Season 9 of 90 Day Fiancé features six new couples and one couple returning from the TLC franchise spin-off 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. After waiting over a year, viewers were excited to re-experience the original show that has made foreign tumultuous relationships mainstream. However, it appears fans may have expected too much out of the franchise.

Although the season is only a few episodes in, most viewers have flip-flopped from boredom to excitement. Except for Patrick Mendes and 90 Day Fiancé's Thaís Ramone, the couples are together and progressing toward marriages. There are a few hints of cringeworthy moments, as Kara Bass refers to her fiancé as a “toddler.” Then 25-year-old Mohamed Abdelhamed showed an obvious disdain for his 48-year-old fiancé’s lack of a bidet.

There’s also Emily Bieberly’s average storyline concerning her weight gain after her pregnancy. Those storylines aside, the rest appear mediocre compared to the riotous scenes fans are familiar with. Nonetheless, if 90 Day Fiancé has taught viewers anything, it’s that nothing is ever as it originally appears. With a new cast and previews hinting toward clashing families, pregnancy scares, and prenup agreements, viewers are wondering how this season will play out. As a result, fans are curious to learn more about the new cast and their popularity on social media.

Kobe Blaise – 1,772

Hailing from Cameroon is 90 Day Fiancé's Kobe Blaise. Kody met Emily when she was teaching English in China. He worked as an underwear model, and the two got engaged in two weeks. Surprisingly, for a man who worked as a model, Kobe has the fewest followers, coming in at just a little under 1,800. The profile has 66 pictures over the span of two years.

Guillermo Rojer – 2,714

The 23-year-old from Venezuela is Guillermo Rojer, and his fiancé is Kara Bass. The couple met in the Dominican Republic. Kara was there on a work trip, and Guillermo went from Tequila boy to fiancé in eight months. Guillermo currently has a little over 2,500 followers.

Emily Bieberly – 4,418

90 Day Fiancé's Emily and Kobe haven’t seen each other in almost two years. What started as a one-night stand turned into a full-blown relationship, including an engagement and a pregnancy. Emily used to live a different lifestyle, but now she has a son, Koban, and is sporting a “mom bod.” Her profile appears to be over six years old and has a following of 4,000.

Kara Bass – 6222

Kara is 29 years old, making her six years older than her partner Guillermo. However, that doesn’t stop her from referring to herself as a "cougar" or sharing jokes about her liking younger men. The “Jill of all Trades” has a hard time committing, but she believes Guillermo can change that. Her following is currently a little under 6,000.

Thais Ramone – 6,751

The only couple that has yet to appear on the show is 90 Day Fiancé's Thais and Patrick. The 25-year-old Thais met Patrick while he was vacationing in Brazil. They found each other on a dating app and traveled the world together. In 2020, on a trip to Mexico, the two got engaged. This newcomer currently has a little under 7,000 followers.

Shaeeda Sween – 18.3k

Shaeeda Sween is an entrepreneur and yogi from Trinidad and Tobago. She met Bilal Hazziez and got engaged after a week of being together. They had a spiritual union, or Nikah, which is a binding marriage under Islamic law, but it is not recognized as a legal marriage in the U.S. However, this couple also spent two years apart because of Covid-19. 90 Day Fiancé's Shaeeda has a little over 18,000 followers.

Patrick Mendes – 19.6k

Patrick jokingly claims to have met his fiancé Thais several times. From the sneak peek, it looks like the two are in love, but viewers have yet to meet them. This newcomer is a three-time weightlifting champion and has almost 20,000 followers.

Bilal Hazziez – 19.9k

Bilal is a luxury realtor who kept his success from his fiancé. Upon her arrival in the U.S., he tricked her into thinking his ratty childhood home was where he still lived. Shaeeda felt deceived and Bilal quickly earned the title of being the franchise villain. Currently, Bilal has a little under 20,000 followers.

Jibri Bell – 21.6k

Jibri Bell is a “space punk” musician for the band Black Serbs and met his fiancé, Miona Bell, while he was performing one night. 90 Day Fiancé's Jibri and Miona spent their relationship traveling, and he surprised her with a romantic proposal. Meanwhile, in America, he’s a struggling artist, living at home with his parents in South Dakota. The musician has over 21,000 followers.

Miona Bell – 47.3k

Miona is just as good at making money as she is spending it, according to Jibri. She wants to live a “Kardashian lifestyle,” but the two haven’t discussed finances yet. Jibri’s been skirting around the fact that they will have to live with his parents a lot longer than she'd like, for them to save up. The blossoming entrepreneur has a little over 47,000 followers.

Biniyam Shibre – 273k

Coming to the top of the list are the two returning couples, which is probably why they have the largest following among the cast. Biniyam Shibre and Ariela Weinberg have been on two seasons of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, and now they’re headed to the U.S. with their two-year-old son, Aviel. This returning member has around 273,000 followers.

Ariela Weinberg – 368k

Ranking number one in followers for the season 9 cast is returning co-star Ariela. Ariela and Biniyam have had a bumpy relationship, but they seem to be more stable now. Although, Bini's sisters still have a strong dislike for Ariela, this returning 90 Day Fiancé member has 367,000 followers.

There are two cast members not on the list. Mohamed Abdelhamed is from Egypt and fell in love with 90 Day Fiancé's Yvette Arellano, a woman 23 years his senior. However, to him, it’s the perfect relationship because she’s “mature.” It appears Mohamed once had an Instagram, but now neither of them has a profile. Between the age gap and the cultural differences, this couple appears to have their work cut out for them. While staying off social media is probably best for this couple, the other duos have slowly seen an increase in followers, and 90 Day Fiancé fans are interested to see how this season plays out for these co-stars.
