Viewers were surprised when all 90 Day Fiancé season 9 couples tied the knot at the end of the season, because most of the cast members' personalities don't seem to match their partners'. Lots of fans think that many of the marriages from this 90DF season won't last. This is due to fundamental differences between each "half" of every couple. These problems have caused major issues for all of them. For example, Kara Bass is portrayed as a party girl, whereas Guillermo Rojer seems reserved and responsible, despite the fact that he is six years younger than Kara.

However, longtime 90 Day Fiancé fans are used to franchise couples that seem completely wrong for each other. Somehow, some of them are able to make their relationships work. For example, Paola and Russ Mayfield are complete opposites, as are Andrei Castravet and Elizabeth Potthast. Despite their different temperaments, both of these 90 Day Fiancé couples are still married (however, Paola and Russ did take a brief break from their marriage in 2021). Although 90 Day Fiancé has featured numerous other couples who seemed like odd matches to viewers, but stayed together, there have also been many pairs on the show whose incompatibility eventually caused them to split.

In addition, most of the cast members seem to want different things than their partners, which has created tension. For example, Shaeeda Sween made it clear from the beginning that she wanted to have kids with her now-husband, Bilal Hazziez. However, Bilal, who already has kids, does not seem to want any more. 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way stars Biniyam Shibre and Ariela Weinberg also clashed over Biniyam pursuing his dream of being an MMA fighter, as Ari was concerned about the safety of the sport. She also didn't approve of the fact that he was practicing with women. Read on to learn more about the compatibility of each couple, ranked from the least compatible to the most.

7. Yvette Arellano & Mohamed Abdelhamed

Mohamed Abdelhamed and Yve Arellano on the 90 Day Fiancé season 9 tell all

Many 90 Day Fiancé couples have fought because of differing religious beliefs, and Yvette Arellano and Mohamed Abdelhamed are no exception. Egyptian man Mohamed moved to New Mexico to be with Yve, after the two connected online. However, when he arrived, he expected Yve to dress modestly and follow Muslim traditions, even though she is not Muslim. Because of these expectations, Yve's friends and Mohamed didn't get along, which made for awkward moments. Fans were shocked when Mohamed said on the show that he would simply "find another sponsor" so he could stay in the U.S., if he and Yve didn't work out. Fans were less surprised when steamy texts between Mohamed and another woman surfaced online towards the season's end.

6. Bilal Hazziez & Shaeeda Sween

Bilal Hazziez and Shaeeda Sween are so different that it's hard to find any similarities between the two. Shaeeda is portrayed as much more carefree than Bilial, who seems a lot more serious than his partner. In a now-infamous scene from 90 Day Fiancé season 9, Shaeeda and Bilal were driving when Shaeeda tapped Bilal's head, in what she said was meant to be a playful manner. However, it made Bilal so angry that he threatened to kick Shaeeda out of the car. What's more, he wants things to be immaculate around the house, whereas Shaeeda is on the messier side. Bilal and his family also seem to love to pull pranks on Shaeeda, which she doesn't appear to appreciate.

5. Kobe Blaise & Emily BieberlyEmily and Kobe on 90 Day Fiance promo shot red background

Cameroon man Kobe Blaise and Kansas woman Emily Bieberly were not alike, and disagreed on almost everything, especially how to raise their son, Koban. Kobe moved in with Emily and her family, and the two didn't see eye to eye on certain issues, including breastfeeding etiquette, and whether Koban could eat peanuts. Also, fans noticed that Emily seemed to take her parents' support for granted, whereas Kobe appeared much more appreciative of the help and hospitality. When the couple got pregnant again, they also disagreed about whether they should tell Emily's parents.

Fans noticed the pronounced differences between Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre as soon as they were introduced to the couple on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. New Jersey woman Ari was much more prone to worrying than her partner. In fact, Ethiopian man Bini seemed to have a lighthearted spirit. Once their son Avi was born, the two had different parenting styles. Fans may remember when the three of them were at a celebration in Ethiopia, and Biniyam couldn't wait to share it with his family. However, Ariela was worried about overstimulating Avi, so she left.

KARA Guillermo Meet 90 Day Fiance 2 at beach

Although Kara Bass is six years older than Guillermo Rojer, the show portrayed her as enjoying drinking and partying more than her Venezuelan partner. Kara also seemed to have a tendency to belittle Guillermo, whereas Guillermo didn't treat Kara that way. The real estate agent talked down to Guillermo because he was younger, and they also seemed to think about money differently. Once he arrived in the U.S., Guillermo wanted to buy a computer. However, Kara didn't think that was a good way to spend their money, since he couldn't even work. One interesting fact is that Kara alleged after the show that this was a scripted storyline.

Thaís Ramone and Patrick Mendes disagreed on many issues, such as whether Patrick's brother John should live with them, and if Thaís should tell her dad they were engaged. The two seemed like a real mismatch until the Tell-All episode, when viewers discovered that they had both been hiding things from each other. Maybe these two cast members aren't so different after all.

Serbian woman Miona Bell and her American partner Jibri Bell argued throughout the season, about family and Jibri's band, the Black Serbs. However, they both have entrepreneurial aspirations, with Jibri's many hustles, and Miona's makeup line. The two seem to mesh well, and some fans think that they are the only completely compatible couple in the whole season.
