The fan-favorite reality show 90 Day Fiancé returns with season 9 soon with seven couples and here’s all the information about when and where to watch it. TLC surprised fans with a trailer for their flagship show on March 10 to reveal it is the show which will be replacing the ongoing 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5. The first look has already appealed to fans who are interested in seeing new countries and diverse couples instead of the recycled places and storylines in the past few spin-offs. Making a comeback after their chaotic 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way stint is Ariela Weinberg along with Biniyam Shibre. But here’s a look at the new faces who’ll soon become well-known reality TV celebs and Instagram influencers and what makes their plots interesting.

The preview of the nail-biting 90 Day Fiancé season is packed with everything that fans love about the long-running series. There are young doublets giddy in love, an unplanned pregnancy, a May/December romance, and a pair that’s getting married after spending just seven days together. But one thing that’s common between the seven duos is that they all have just 90 days to wed before their coveted K-1 visas expire. While fans do know a spoiler about Ariela and Biniyam, will every other couple also make it to the altar?

According to People, the show which premieres on both TLC and Discovery+ on April 17 at 8 p.m. EST will have popular 90 Day Fiancé pair Ariela and Biniyam dealing with a new set of problems. Things weren’t great between Princeton, New Jersey, native Ariela, 20, and Biniyam, 31, in the first place. But now, the Ethiopian man is expected to shed light on his past in the U.S., as Ari continues her tussle with his sisters Mimi and Wish. Kobe, 34, from Cameroon and 29-year-old Emily from Salina, Kansas, already have a baby together after meeting in China. The pandemic is causing delays with Kobe’s visa application as they fight to give their son the family he deserves. Kara, 29, from Charlottesville, Virginia, met Guillermo, 23, during a work trip to Venezuela. It was Kara who moved to the Dominican Republic first for work and got engaged to Guillermo before he comes to Virginia and allows her partying habits to make him feel insecure.

Then there’s a divorced father of two Bilal, 42 from Kansas City, Missouri, who’s getting married to Trinidad and Tobago’s Shaeeda, 37, a woman he proposed after two spent just one week together. Bilal doesn’t want more children and wants a prenup, which makes Shaeeda wonder if he’s the same person she met in Trinidad. Miona, 23, from Serbia and Jibri, 28, have already sparked rumors of them being married. Jibri noticed Miona in the audience of his band’s show and envisions spending the rest of her life living lavishly in Los Angeles when Jibri is actually from a small town in South Dakota. The pair with the biggest age gap on 90 Day Fiancé season 9 is Yvette, a 48-year-old from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Egyptian man Mohamed she met in her DMs. Yvette has a 12-year-old with special needs who’s much closer in age to 25-year-old Mohamed than she is in this mismatched couple.

Lastly, 90 Day Fiancé season 9 introduces Austin, Texas, resident Patrick and his 25-year-old Brazilian fiancé Thaís, who’ll be giving up her extravagant life back home to marry the once-divorced man. There was a lot of speculation about who will be cast in the new season. Some of the names floating around were Mike Berk and Ximena Morales and even Memphis Sandoval and Hamza Moknii. However, this bunch of new duos look refreshing and the possibilities of the drama they can bring to the table are endless. With four episodes of problematic 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 left, fans will have to wait for just a month to see how the newcomers fare in the franchise.
