The 90 Day Fiancé franchise has introduced creepy cast members who are now notorious for their appallingly bad behavior, and we are here to talk about the rudest villains of them all. In many instances, the American spouse of a foreign partner embarrassed themselves with a lack of decorum when it came to their partner and their culture. However, there are also cases of foreign spouses being rude to their American partners. The last seven years of franchise content, across the OG show and spin-offs, has prompted critics to call out certain cast members for their rude conduct.
Though plenty of cast members have been on their worst behavior throughout the franchise, several rude family members earn honorable mentions. Viewers have expressed the opinion that Elizabeth Potthast Castravet's family is shockingly ill-mannered. The Potthast family is still in the spotlight, thanks to 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Meanwhile, Deavan Clegg's mother Elicia was shockingly rude and obnoxious on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Many viewers thought she was the worst example of an embarrassing American. Franchise fans also can't forget Brandon Gibbs' mother Betty Gibbs, who received a lot of criticism because of the way that she treated his partner Julia Trubkina during 90 Day Fiancé season 8.
Andrei Castravet
While Elizabeth (Libby for short) has family members that have been called out for their bad behavior, her husband Andrei Castravet also gets criticism. He is known for his bad temper. Russian-speaking viewers recently revealed that Andrei insults Libby in Russian and curses frequently in that language. Andrei is perceived as vulgar, lazy, arrogant, selfish, and insolent. The Moldovan man expects things to be handed to him by Libby's family. A case in point is his recent request for a $100,000 loan from her father Chuck Potthast. Andrei doesn't talk to members of her family with respect. He has also been accused of being misogynistic and controlling. Many viewers can't understand why anyone would marry such a rude man.
Angela Deem
Angela Deem is considered hilarious by many franchise viewers. However, there are those who consider Meemaw to be an incredibly rude and inappropriate person. Angela has no filter, so she often says shocking things. Additionally, the grandmother doesn't have any boundaries. The most recent episode of Happily Ever After? saw married Angela flirting with her doctor shamelessly, despite his apparent discomfort. Angela also engages in verbal sparring with her husband Michael Ilesanmi and doesn't treat her partner with respect.
Big Ed Brown
Big Ed Brown became notorious because of the way that he treated his now-ex-girlfriend Rosemarie Vega on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. The older American was highly critical of his younger Filipina partner, whom he was accused of taking advantage of due to her poverty. Big Ed insulted Rose's bad breath, which she said was due to an untreated ulcer. He also didn't approve of her body hair. As well, he insisted that Rose take an STD test even though he refused to do the same. Since Rose dumped him, the father has continued to seek out younger women to date (or try to date). Big Ed's attitude towards women is considered abrasive and creepy by many viewers. Recently, he tried to kiss a woman named Liz without asking her for consent. This was shown on 90 Day: The Single Life.
Lisa Hamme
Lisa Hamme, also known as "Baby Girl Lisa" is up there with Angela as one of the franchise's worst-behaved women. Lisa's conduct left many American viewers feeling embarrassed. They watched the drama unfold when she visited her partner Usman Umar in Nigeria. Lisa was one of many American partners who didn't want to adapt to their partner's culture. Additionally, Lisa shocked viewers (and ended her run in the franchise) by directing a racial slur at Usman. Lisa's behavior has been classified as trashy by many, but she surprised her followers recently by announcing her marriage to a mystery man.
Chantel Everett
Chantel Everett, now known as Chantel Jimeno, is one of the most successful people in the franchise. She stars alongside her husband Pedro Jimeno in The Family Chantel. Though she is successful and beautiful, Chantel has demonstrated time and time again that she lacks good manners. Chantel, her family, and Pedro's family are known for their memorable fights. Family members even got physical during one dinner. Chantel makes the rudest cast member list for infamously calling Pedro's sister a "b*tch-ass, sl*t-ass wh*re."
Natalie Mordovtseva
Though Natalie Mordovtseva's partner Mike Youngquist is also known for his bad manners, Natalie's repeated belittling of her partner earns her a spot on the list. Natalie spent most of season 8 belittling Mike as the couple cycled through endless relationship drama. Despite wanting to make things with Mike work, Natalie made it clear that she considered herself better looking and smarter than him. She infamously asked her partner, “How much is your IQ? Mine is high" during one of their many arguments. Though many viewers grew to dislike Mike, Natalie's constant put-downs didn't win her praise.
Leida Margaretha
Leida Margaretha remains one of the franchise's most infamous personalities. Leida is considered the top franchise villain for many, as the Indonesian woman is accused of lying about everything, from her education to her allegedly wealthy background. However, what upset viewers most was Leida's mistreatment of her partner Eric Rosenbrook's daughter. Leida didn't like the fact that Eric had to pay child support to help his kids. Viewers were outraged when Leida kicked one of Eric's teenage daughters out of his house during an argument (and obtained a restraining order against the young girl). Though they later made up, many viewers haven't forgiven Leida for her appalling behavior.
Andrew Kenton
Andrew Kenton from 90 Day Fiancé season 8 is the most recent cast member to be slammed by viewers for his bad behavior. Since his split with his ex-fiancé Amira Lollysa, Andrew has been on a mission to smear Amira's reputation. Though some viewers agree with Andrew's claims that Amira made false and misleading claims about their relationship, most people do not think that justifies the way that Andrew has treated his ex. The California daycare worker had his messages to Amira revealed, which caused many viewers to view him as rude and manipulative. Franchise fans celebrated Amira getting away from Andrew.
