Happy 90 Day Fiancé season 8 couple Rebecca Parrott and Zied Hakimi showed off their cool new set of wheels on Instagram, but fans couldn’t help but ask how they were able to afford it. Rebecca, who had a less problematic season compared to her TLC castmates, is best known for being filter queen to her 27-year-old king. But Zied's unemployment was a major point of concern for Rebecca and her friends and family on the show. Could this purchase, and Rebecca asking for vanity nameplate ideas, mean Zied has finally received a work permit?

While Zied always claimed to do “work so maach work” during his 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days debut, the Tunisian star’s resume was sketchy to those watching. Rebecca revealing he was 20 years her junior and soon-to-be fourth husband led viewers to believe Zied being after a green card and her money. However, Rebecca defended Zied by adding he worked as an “audience coordinator for a TV station,” and proof of him having been a struggling actor back home surfaced on IG. So was it Zied’s experience in Tunisia that helped him find work after 90 Day Fiancé and splurge on the swanky ride?

Right after showing the world that they’re still together after a year of marriage on the 90 Day Fiancé season 8 Tell-All, Rebecca posted that Zied “got his dream car.” The mother of three thanked an automotive dealership for its help and revealed that Zied was referring to the BMW convertible as “his naked car.” While sharing photos and videos of Zied testing out his new car, Rebecca also thanked her son Brandon for letting them drag him around “test driving all day.” And the 90 Day Fiancé boss woman also joked, “I’m sure [your] dad will let you borrow it anytime,” to her son who is still younger than Zied.

Fans congratulated Rebecca and Zied in the comments, as Zied explained how it was “the second most beautiful day” in his life (the first being his wedding day, of course). However, to Rebecca, who asked for vanity license plate ideas, a snarky fan replied, “GRNCARD.” The 90 Day Fiancé star also had a bit of an earful to spare for those asking how she could afford the car for Zied on a fast-food job salary. Rebecca revealed how she doesn’t work right now, but did “make a lot at that job” and has savings apart from being “on TV too.”

To a TLC viewer who asked, “You bought him a car?” Rebbeca’s curt answer was, “No. We bought a car. He has money too.” But Rebecca did clarify that Zied is “still waiting on his work permit” since COVID-19 has made “it terrible.” Zied, meanwhile, seems to be currently earning money via Cameo and has approximately accumulated over $17,325 from the video messages so far. Considering the 90 Day Fiancé couple appear to have purchased a pre-owned vehicle, as fans suggest, Zied certainly has enough self-earned cash to split with Rebecca on a car.
