There’s a reason why Zied Hakimi and Rebecca Parrott are said to have one of the most real love stories on 90 Day Fiancé. The pair from 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days returned to season 8 with a plot that certainly sees an end with Rebecca and Zied’s marriage. But alongside his similarities with Rebecca’s Moroccan third ex-husband, it’s always been Zied’s unemployment that’s been a concern to her friends and family. However, a scroll through Zied’s IG proves that the 90 Day Fiancé star did have a surprising job back home in Tunisia.
After having met on Facebook, 90 Day Fiancé star Rebecca, 50, had traveled to Tunisia to meet her man Zied in Tunisia, while fearing about getting scammed and hiding a few secrets of her own. Rebecca, who’d admittedly used filters while talking to Zied, was also still legally married to a Moroccan man, one who’d apparently married her for a green card. To add to Zied’s troubles, the 90 Day Fiancé star had also been in a relationship with a woman in her past, something that was against his culture. However, background checks run on Zied by Rebecca’s private investigator friend had revealed that although her 90 Day Fiancé partner didn’t have a criminal past, he also apparently hadn’t worked “a day in his life.” This information did leave Rebecca confused who’d earlier spoken about her Zied having worked as an audience co-coordinator for local television shows. But while 90 Day Fiancé season 8 is still having Melanie raise her doubts about Zied not working while in America, his past job, as revealed via throwback IG pics, shows that he has a promising future with Rebecca.
A post from August, 27, 2019 from Zied Hakimi’s Instagram shows the 90 Day Fiancé celeb dressed in a costume that fans say makes him look like Carthaginian general Hannibal. Rebecca’s now-husband has captioned the post with, “Hhhhhh soo beautiful time before 2 years” which means it could be from an acting assignment in 2017. And Zied’s explanation for the picture is that “it’s from an announcement for icecream.” Another post from August 2, 2019 shows a long-haired Zied wearing an FBI officer outfit complete with a fake gun. A video in the post also has Zied chasing and firing his gun at a potential criminal as he arrests him in his policeman garb, sporting a suave mustache!
While this interesting past of Zied hasn’t been explored on 90 Day Fiancé, he does write that the post is an archive of “some of the acting” he’s “done over the years.” The reality TV star also has a bunch of thirsty fans commenting on the IG post with, “Wow, he looks so different with short hair,” and “so sexy.” But some fans seem to be confused if “this 90 Day is just an acting gig” for Zied and another fan writing, “so now we know u just want be on TV, so this relationship u have is all so u can be famous in America.”
Owing to Zied currently posting clickbait links on his Instagram, fans think he may have finally received his permit to work in America after getting married to Rebecca. But given Zied’s recent degree at a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) school, could the 90 Day Fiancé star get a technician job next? Or could Zied try out his luck in Hollywood just like wifey Rebecca had when she worked in Keeping Up with the Joneses?
