Although 90 Day Fiancé is known more for its scandals than the success stories, season 8’s Rebecca Parrott and Zied Hakimi may have written their own. The 90 Days Fiancé: Before The 90 Days couple has returned to TLC to pick up their complicated romance from where it left off. But all the catfishing, pending divorces, past sexual escapades, and of course, trust issues, all seemed to have shifted for Rebecca and Zied to finally get married. But while season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé, continues to explore Rebecca’s hesitance and Zied’s possibly shady motives, here’s how Zied and Rebecca have managed to keep their marriage hush-hush.

With 90 Day Fiancé’s Rebecca having been married not once but thrice before, her rushing into another one may come as a surprise to many. But the last time Rebecca, 49, appeared on reality TV did show how much the relationship with Zied, 27, meant to her. In spite of her family and friends asking her to stay cautious, the former private investigator went to Zied’s Tunis, Tunisia to stay with his Muslim family. But their 22-year-old age gap or heavily photoshopped pictures didn’t matter as much as her exposed tattoos did to Zied. Then came in the fact that the 90 Day Fiancé star was still married to her cheating Morrocan ex, and also that she’d been with a woman, which went against Zied’s principles. However, their stint ended with Rebecca promising to get Zied to America on a K-1 visa, which not only has been successful as seen on 90 Day Fiancé season 8 but has also ended in holy matrimony.

According to Soap Dirt, Zied had arrived in the US in late February/early March this year, as revealed by the photos both he and Rebecca had posted on their Instagram profiles. While this happened pre-pandemic, 90 Day Fiancé’s Rebecca had also found herself a new apartment for Zied to move in to, along with a cute pet puppy. Luckily for the TLC twosome, Zied arrived in the nick of time, right before Tunisia closed its borders mid-March, and before Canton, Georgia, where Rebecca’s apartment is, went into a state of emergency. By April 19, Rebecca and Zied supposedly married in North Georgia, in a “religious ceremony officiated by a priest.” Thus, suggesting that the marriage did not happen as per Zied’s Islamic customs.

Now, not only have Zied and Rebecca managed to keep their “just married” status on the low since then, but have also kept 90 Day Fiancé fans guessing their relationship status. The couple, whose wedding location was in the North Georgia mountains, is also supposed to have filmed the ceremony themselves digitally, or perhaps with a small TLC crew.

However, owing to their NDA and strict 90 Day Fiancé contract in place, Zied and Rebecca won’t be able to share more than cryptic selfies and lovey-dovey captioned posts on Instagram, until season 8 ends. Still, the road leading to their secret wedding venue has not been easy for Rebecca and her husband #4, with Zied having no job, and her folks finding faults, which will likely be the crux of their 90 Day Fiancé journey this time.
