Fart jar girl and 90 Day Fiancé franchise alum Stephanie Matto has to retire from selling her infamous jars for a very painful reason. Stephanie, a 31-year-old YouTuber, became known to TLC viewers after 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, in which she was a part of the franchise’s first same-sex relationship. Her long-distance love story with Australian photographer Erika Owens ended as her rise to fame had just begun. Stephanie started making money using OnlyFans, and soon launched her own adult content platform. It was on Unfiltrd that Stephanie started selling her eyebrow-raising farts bottled in jars, and reportedly made $200,000.

New Yorker Stephanie was last seen in 90 Day: The Single Life season 2. She claimed she had been celibate for two and a half years and hoped to find a man or a woman who would end her dry spell. Unfortunately, none of Stephanie’s matches worked out on the show, but off-screen, she found herself a Frenchman who’s now her mystery boyfriend. Stephanie claims her businessman beau is supportive of her being the #1 fartrpeneuer in the world. As per Stephanie, her clients on her adult site wanted to inhale her farts and started selling them as a joke. Around the holiday season of 2021, Stephanie launched her stinky business with $1000 for a jar of her farts.

Much to the surprise of 90 Day Fiancé fans, Stephanie became a worldwide phenomenon thanks to her gas. Stephanie basked in the attention, but in January, LadBible reported that Stephanie had announced her retirement. Stephanie had landed in the hospital after showing symptoms of a “heart attack.” Concerned doctors performed blood tests and an electrocardiogram on Stephanie to find out that her symptoms were actually caused due to her high protein diet of beans, eggs, and shakes. In her interview with Rolling Stone, Stephanie admitted she never told the doctors about her fart jars. “I told them that I work out a lot. They didn’t really push any further than that,” Stephanie added.

What eventually happened is that writer and singer Stephanie was diagnosed with “really bad gas pain” and asked to avoid eating everything that she was ingesting. Stephanie was given a gas suppressant which basically put her out of business. “I wanted a shot at not being the Fart Jar Girl for the rest of my life,” she shared. However, fate had other plans for Stephanie, who soon launched her own NFT fart jars. “It’s basically a collection of 5,000 unique, digitally drawn fart jars, and they all have a different theme,” explained Stephanie. In less than two weeks, the NFT project launch had earned her over $130,000. For Valentine’s Day 2022, Stephanie made the most of her toots by turning them into fart candles, which seem to be sold out for now.

Stephanie has been accused of being attention-hungry by those who’ve watched her on 90 Day Fiancé. However, Stephanie has also embraced the clout chaser label. She believes that clout is power and wears the moniker with pride. Stephanie’s fart jar business may have come and gone. However, knowing just how enterprising she is, Stephanie’s next big idea might just be around the block.
