If Gino fell in love with Jasmine for her beauty and brains, so did 90 Day Fiancé fans, who love her unfiltered take on things and her style. It was during one such moment of vulnerability that Jasmine revealed her struggles with hair loss and how she felt like a fraud for not admitting it sooner.
According to Jasmine’s IG post from March 31, she almost didn’t participate in the 90 Day Fiancé Tell-All but did it eventually, thanks to the wig. Jasmine has been losing a “massive amount of hair.” She thankfully received the wig mere hours before filming the reunion. It was the network that helped Jasmine out, and she thanked her team for the “emotional support” they brought her. Jasmine first opened up about her hair loss in February. She revealed she started losing hair after the birth of her son. It started thinning and getting fragile. “Then my divorce and all the issues related to it had me suffering from anxiety,” said Jasmine.
Jasmine's hair didn’t stop falling out. She was desperate as she started developing bald patches on her head where there was no hair left at all. This resulted in Jasmine developing anxiety, which worsened her condition. When Jasmine took to wearing extensions, which were the next best solution, her hair fell out even more. That’s when she started wearing wigs, which some fans thought were her real hair. “My sweet people: I’m losing almost all my hair,” said Jasmine while coming clean about her mane issues. It was then that Jasmine decided to no longer hide her pain while realizing “your beauty doesn’t rely on your hair.”
A lot of mean comments and memes about Jasmine’s wig followed her 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Tell-All appearance. Some viewers thought it was a costume, while some said it made Jasmine look like a mannequin. However, the 90 Day Fiancé beauty was the unbothered queen she always is even if the wig made her feel uncomfortable about how she looked on-screen. Jasmine’s look in the reunion will remain iconic along with the one-liners she delivered while basically turning into the Tell-All MVP.
