Former 90 Day Fiancé franchise star Paul Staehle recently posted a few concerning health updates from his trip to Brazil. The 39-year-old reality star is known for his appearance in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 2, during which he married his former partner, Karine Staehle. The couple had a terrible relationship on TLC, which involved domestic violence allegations and emotional drama. Over the last few years, Paul and Karine became parents to two little boys, but their bond never grew stronger. In fact, things worsened when Paul's Brazilian ex-partner accused him of physical and sexual assault.
Fortunately for Paul, Karine admitted that her accusations were false. However, things still remained awful for the two. Last year, a video of the Brazilian reality star allegedly beating her husband surfaced online, quickly resulting in them splitting up. Since then, the two have been fighting for their children's custody and have not seen eye to eye. In June, the controversial couple became part of another controversy when their elder son, Pierre Staehle, went missing out of the blue. But the authorities found the kid at Paul's parents' house.
Things have not been going well for Paul for a while, as he was recently involved in an unfortunate incident. In his latest Instagram post, he shared a clip of himself swimming in a natural water stream in Brazil. Paul got into an accident while enjoying his time in the waves, which sent him directly to a hospital. Paul then took to his Instagram Stories to share a picture of himself in a hospital bed, with the caption, "In recovery doing well." A few hours later, the controversial 90 Day Fiancé franchise alum shared another update and claimed he is doing better and will be out soon. He captioned the video, "Always wear your lifevest."
Redditor TenTinyBirds shared Paul's posts on Reddit and sarcastically asked for prayers. 90 Day Fiancé viewers didn't feel sorry for the man. Redditor hypatia0803 wrote, "I have a really bad feeling that all of this will not end well," and added that Karine needs to stay away from him. Tuff_Wizardess questioned Paul's intent to enjoy a trip to Brazil and asked, "His kids are in foster care! Doesn't he give a c*** and want to try and see if he can get some sort of supervised visitation."
It is unfortunate that Paul has had this awful accident. However, he has failed to get sympathy from 90 Day Fiancé fans, and they think he should be in the United States for his kids. Some people now want Karine to have custody of the children, as she seems more likely to be a better parent, and Paul has lost all his credibility due to his attitude and controversies. At the end of the day, 90 Day Fiancé viewers want the little ones to be safe and happy.
