90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? couple Paul Staehle and Karine Martins seemed to be missing from the show for a while. 90 Day Fiancé fans last saw them at the airport while leaving for Brazil. The sneak peek of the Tell-All episode also doesn't feature them. So, where are they? Why are they missing from the action?
Since Paul and Karine have arrived in the United States, things have been quite challenging for them. Initially, the Kentucky native failed to provide a house for his family of three. At last, he did find a tiny trailer house. However, Karine was still unhappy because her husband was jobless. She gave Paul an ultimatum that if he fails to land a job within two months, they will move back to Brazil. Unfortunately, the father-of-one couldn't secure a job, and the couple left for Brazil. While the 23-year-old 90 Day Fiancé reality star was super-happy to return to her home country, Paul wasn't too thrilled. During a confessional, he said, "It's definitely bittersweet with us leaving America right now. I'm hoping we'll go back to Brazil just to visit, but I'm really worried that Karine will get home and want to stay there permanently."
After that, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? viewers didn't get an update from the couple, to see if they made it to Brazil (and to find out how things are there if they get to Brazil). The couple didn't appear in the finale of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 5. Even the sneak peek of the Tell-All episode doesn't feature them. Check out the trailer below:
It's making many 90 Day Fiancé fans curious about why Paul and Karine are missing. Although the reason for their absence isn't detailed, fans can assume one or two possibilities. Perhaps the duo doesn't have the required resources in Brazil to virtually connect with the rest of the cast members and the show host, Shaun Robinson. Since the mommy-of-one lives in a remote village (it's called Tocantins), it might have been difficult for the couple to access a stable Internet connection or a digital device.
Also, the couple was having explosive arguments before leaving America. The arguments were so bad that TLC star Karine had to escape the situation by locking herself in the bathroom. She seemed annoyed at her husband and didn't even want to talk to the production crew. Therefore, it is possible that the couple had yet another altercation, which might have blown up to the point that they decided not to appear in the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Tell-All episode. Let's see if the show's host addresses Paul and Karine's issues and lets viewers know the reason for their absence.
