Paul and Karine Staehle from 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After recently terrified their fans when a dangerous-looking photo emerged on social media. While Karine was on the edge of a cliff, Paul was clinging to the edge. Since they are together at a scenic location, it looks like their relationship is getting back on track. Earlier, the Brazilian native Karine apologized to her husband publicly for making false sexual assault and domestic violence accusations against him.
Last year, she left his house in the United States and started living with a fan, who was also a Brazilian translator. According to Paul, that translator convinced Karine to make false allegations and also get an abortion. While apologizing, Paul's wife said that the translator was wrong. She couldn't understand what Karine was trying to communicate, as her English speaking skills were not that good. When Karine learned that the fan was taking things too seriously and planning to get Paul killed, she left her house and returned to her husband.
The couple is now living in Brazil with their two sons, as Paul is scared to return to the U.S. because he believes that the fan might still want him murdered. But, he looked super psyched recently while striking a scary pose with his wife on the edge of the cliff. In the photo, Paul is holding on to the border of the big rock and giving a smile to the camera. While he appears to be having a near-death experience, Karine is just looking at him. This photo terrified many 90 Day Fiance fans, and they commented things like, "Omg scary," "This makes me severely anxious," "This is absolutely ridiculous," and "Let go Paul!" Some fans thought that the picture was Photoshopped and assumed that Karine did it. Well, fans can breathe a sigh of relief because it isn't a real cliff. The edge of the rock is just three feet off the ground. The photographer took the picture at an angle that cropped out the ground below.
It gives the viewers an illusion that Paul is on the verge of falling down the cliff. So, even if Paul had let go, he would have gotten hurt. This place is called Pedra do Telégrafo, a popular tourist spot in Brazil. Since this spot is quite popular amongst many tourists, it usually takes anywhere from one-to-six hours to wait in line and have a picture taken. Paul and Karine have been in Rio De Janeiro, a famous seaside city in Brazil. They have been posting lots of lovey-dovey photos from their vacation. It looks like this 90 Day Fiance couple is getting along well, despite the initial hiccups in their relationship.
