Newcomers Patrick Mendes and Thaís Ramone of 90 Day Fiancé are one of six couples on season 9, but fans have not gotten to see any of their story unfold yet. Three episodes into the show, many viewers are wondering whether or not Patrick and Thaís will appear on this season at all. While cast members like Bilal Hazziez and Shaeeda Sween, Kobe Blaise and Emily, and Miona and Jibri Bell, have gotten ample screen time, Patrick and Thaís have not even had the iconic airport meeting scene.

The latest season of the hit show features returning cast members from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre, and five brand new couples. Each 90 Day Fiancé season 9 cast member's story is progressing at a different pace, as Ariela is getting wine thrown in her face in Ethiopia while Miona and Jibri are already in his native South Dakota having uncomfortable family dinners. This season promises to bring the drama, because many of the couples are living with family and their foreign partners will have to adjust to that way of life. While fans are rooting for Kara Bass and Guillermo Rojer because of their genuine connection, other couples like Mohamed and Yvette Arellano seem doomed to fail.

Patrick is 31 years old and his Brazilian love, Thaís, is 25 years old. The pair met on a dating app when he was vacationing in Brazil, and have been together ever since. 90 Day Fiancé season 9 stars Patrick and Thaís have met up in person several times, as he jokingly mentioned the thousands of miles he has traveled over the years to see her, and the pair have gone on multiple romantic vacations together. Patrick proposed to her in a Mexican cenote in November 2020, and her visa was approved for her to move to Patrick's native state Dallas, Texas. From the glimpses viewers have seen of them on the 90 Day Fiancé First Look, Patrick and Thaís appear very much in love and fans want to see more.

Patrick and Thaís have been noticeably absent from the first few episodes of 90 Day Fiancé season 9, but there may have just been too many couples to air all of their stories at the same time. Patrick and Thaís will make their debut on the fourth episode, which is airing on May 8. From the 90 Day Fiancé season 9 trailer, the couples' main problem will be adjusting to living with Patrick's brother.

Patrick said he and his brother are used to living the bachelor life, and the two drinking beers in the morning while a shocked Thaís stands there watching, was proof of that. There will also be a language barrier, as Patrick learned Portuguese for Thaís, but his brother did not, and she does not know much English. Though 90 Day Fiancé fans have been patiently waiting to see when Patrick and Thaís will begin to share their story, the wait is almost over.
