Former 90 Day Fiancé star Paola Mayfield unveiled her new wrestling avatar after ditching her old alter ego, Paola Blaze. The Colombian beauty was first featured on 90 Day Fiancé season 1 with her husband Russ Mayfield and instantly became a fan-favorite. After featuring on multiple seasons of the franchise, she eventually decided to become a model and a fitness trainer. Paola now has her own fitness website, where she sells different types of workouts and meals to 90 Day Fiancé fans. In March 2021, Paola decided to make a move to a new career and become a professional wrestler.
She posted a video of her wrestling with a man, which left many fans shocked. In the short clip, Paola flaunted her flexible body and made some really powerful moves inside the ring. In April 2021, she finally introduced her in-ring alias, Paola Blaze, and told 90 Day Fiancé viewers to watch her first wrestling match in Holiday Inn, Miami West. Many fans congratulated Paola and complimented her wrestling. But some mocked Paola's wrestling moves and said she looked like an amateur while performing her rehearsed actions. A few fans also thought Paola would give up wrestling after a few months. But, Paola has proved naysayers wrong.
The 90 Day Fiancé alum is still wrestling and ready to take down her opponents with a new alter ego. She posted a couple of images and a video of her new wrestling persona on Instagram. She wrote, "No more Paola Blaze! I am Paola Mayfield, and I'm ready to defend my title." Paola ditched her old wrestling gear and showed off a new one. Former 90 Day Fiancé cast member is now flaunting a purple wrestling costume that has a halterneck. Paola also showed off a new hairstyle. She tied her straight black hair in a high ponytail instead of sporting her old orange-colored curly hair.
Many fans liked Paola's new costume much more than her older one. A fan commented, "Okay Queen I see the glow up happening!!!" Another fan chimed in, "I like Paola Mayfield better." A different fan wrote, "That's pretty cool both names coincide with the alter ego of being fiery badass sexy, and fully competitive." However, a few 90 Day Fiancé fans still think that Paola's orange hair perfectly suited her face and personality. But, the former TLC star cleared up that she would like to keep her hair in a darker shade now.
Honestly, Paola's old persona, Paola Blaze, seemed much more intimidating. Her curly orange hair made her look energetic, powerful, and dominant. But, dramatic looks only play a small role outside the ring. Ultimately, Paola's wrestling moves and mental and physical toughness will help her win matches. She may not look as aggressive as before, but she is still agile, daring, and has muscular strength. All these things will help the 90 Day Fiancé celeb Paola to become the female wrestling champion.
