Fans of reality television are always in for a treat when it comes to 90 Day Fiancé. There's not a better recipe for drama out there than exploring long-distance relationships with the added pressure of deciding on marriage...within just 90 days. The show has been around for five years now, and it's seen a number of spin-offs guaranteed to quench fans' thirst for more. One of these spin-offs, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, shows the other side of the coin, with the American moving abroad to be with their soulmate.

Laura is one of the ladies off to a foreign destination on the first season of the show. Those who've been following along know of her close relationship with her son, Liam. With just a few episodes to go until the end, Liam gave fans the chance to ask him anything they wanted on the show's sub-Reddit. Take a look at what we learned from it!

He Hasn't Watched A Single Episode

Obviously, it's by choice that the couples and potential spouses featured on the show appear at all. To put on a production like this one, you need people who'll be on board with showcasing their entire private lives for the world to see. Many times, the people who agree to be featured on reality TV are fans of the show.

This is not the case for Liam, though! When asked if he had ever watched 90 Day Fiancé or any of its spin-off, he said no. Additionally, when a fan inquired about the sex store scene, and if he watched it, he went so far as to admit he hasn't watched a single of the episodes that have aired so far. Not even the ones where he appears!

He's Not A Grilled Cheese Fan

Arguably one of the most enticing parts of a show like 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way is the people who make up the cast. Of course, the love stories and travels play a huge part, but reality television wouldn't be the same without all the people that surround the main person's story. This is the case with Liam and, of course, Ludwing.

Ludwing is Laura's best friend and, according to Liam, he's his best friend as well. He's very skeptical about the whole thing that involves Aladdin, and he's a fantastic person overall. He also makes a mean grilled cheese! But when fans asked Liam how he felt about the famous sandwich, he admitted he wasn't a fan. Too bad!

The Show Was His Mom's Idea

As we've mentioned above, it's not rare for the people who feature in reality TV shows to be fans of a certain series before they decide to try out. In other instances, although these tend to be rare, friends and family members are the ones who decide to sign up their loved ones to become reality stars in one way or another.

This wasn't the case with Liam, though. The idea of being a part of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way wasn't his brainchild. By his own admission, he never watched the show before! It was actually Laura, her mother, and the woman who travels to Qatar that decided to get in on the show.

It Wasn't Awkward

Can you imagine being just a regular Joe who, all of a sudden, sees his entire life upside down? You pretty much can't make oatmeal for breakfast or decide what to wear that day without a bunch of cameras following you around. That sounds pretty awkward, and those who weren't born into stardom, or are just shy people, would find it extremely difficult.

That's exactly what one of the fans thought. But surprisingly enough, when asked if it was awkward to live his life in front of the cameras all of a sudden, Liam says it was quite alright. He didn't feel ashamed or awkward, and everything transpired as if it was just another day. Maybe he's meant for a life in front of the cameras!

He Plays Quite A Few Videogames

Let's be real here: just because someone from your inner circle decided that they wanted to be part of a reality television show, it doesn't mean a star appears all of a sudden on the Hollywood walk of fame with your name on it. At the end of the day, we're all just regular people who, in Liam's case, just so happen to find themselves on TLC.

Liam is a kind, regular person, just like you and me. He has his likes, dislikes, and interests that go beyond the things we see on the show! For instance, on his Ask Me Anything, he revealed to be a fan of videogames. As of right now, he's playing Rainbow Six Siege, Assassins Creed, Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Batman Arkham Asylum.

His Mom Is Doing Well

One of the conditions Liam placed for his Ask Me Anything on Reddit is that he couldn't give away any spoilers for what is to come on the show. That means he couldn't reveal anything that hasn't aired yet, and what the ultimate fate of Laura and Aladin will be in Qatar, due to the terms of his NDA.

And while we're still trying to figure out how this international love affair that presents such a cultural shock is going to end, Liam did let us know a little something about his mother's current state. There are absolutely no details in regards to the relationship, but, by his own admission, Laura is doing well. Wonder what that could mean?

Popularity Shot Up

Well, okay — you obviously won't be awarded an Oscar for being featured on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, but you are still on television! And it's no secret that the show and its spin-offs have managed to amass quite an impressive fan following throughout the course of the years. So it's expected that Liam would harness some level of recognition!

Fans asked him if he became more popular and if people now recognized him on the street. Well, apparently they do! Being a part of the show has made Liam quite the popular fellow. Even his co-workers watch the show, and he's been recognized while walking around a handful of times.

He's Into Quality TV

Liam isn't just a fan of playing video games! Let's all remember that secondary characters in a reality TV show sometimes have to take a step back in order for the main story to develop. And in this case, the focus is on the relationship between Laura and Aladin, and her trip to Qatar in order to meet the potential love of her life.

Because of this fact, we don't always get a deep insight into the lives and stories of people like Liam who are there to offer support and opinions to the people who are driving the narrative. But there is a lot more to them than meets the eye! Another interesting fact that Liam revealed is that some of his favorite TV shows include Twin Peaks and Breaking Bad.

He Wouldn't Date Abroad

The premise that drives 90 Day Fiancé and its spin-offs is a pretty interesting one. Now more than ever, technology offers us the possibility to make long-distance relationships work in a way that wasn't possible. Pair that with the fact that the show actually follows these couples into a country completely foreign to one of the members, and it's an explosive recipe for quality reality TV.

Liam made a very interesting revelation about himself. Even though he's witnessing first hand his mother's decision to go all the way to Qatar, he admitted he wouldn't date abroad. That's quite the statement! Whether that's because of what he saw, or any other reason, that we don't know.

Aladin Is A Departure For Laura

Laura has made the very radical decision to go to Qatar in order to be with Aladin, a 29-year-old man. Gaps in age are nothing to be ashamed of, or even rare. One look into our everyday lives is enough to show how common it is for people to choose partners that differ in age from them. After all, age is just a number!

One of the fans inquired Liam about whether or not Aladin was a departure for Laura in terms of demographics. Apparently, this is the first time she's done so. Before meeting Aladin, Laura only dated men around her age — with Liam's father being three years her junior. Will this mean a successful romantic endeavor? We'll have to wait and see, but Liam assures us we are in for a great season!
