Kris Foster is a 90 Day Fiancé franchise newcomer who has already opened up about how her medical condition, narcolepsy, and how it affects her life. The partner of Jeymi Noguera appears on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 4 and is eager to make things official with her Colombian girlfriend. However, besides getting ready to meet and marry her girlfriend, Kris is also dealing with her narcolepsy.

90 Day Fiancé's Kris and Jeymi plan to meet in person and marry just nine days after. Kris, an Alabama-based mother of two adult children, identifies as bisexual with a preference for women, while Venezuelan Jeymi is a lesbian who lives in Colombia. Both women had failed relationships with men before meeting online and dating virtually for the past year. While they have yet to meet, and both haven’t had a serious relationship with a woman before meeting online, Jeymi and Kris appear smitten. However, there have been concerns that the two women are moving too fast with their romance.

What Is Kris' Condition Called Narcolepsy?

Kris explained during The Other Way season 4 premiere that she has narcolepsy. This chronic neurological disorder impacts Kris, who works as a parking attendant, and her life, as it affects her brain's ability to control her sleep-wake cycles. Since her brain does not know when it is appropriate to fall asleep, it can lead to her falling asleep throughout the day. Narcolepsy is a lifelong problem and can include more symptoms, including excessive sleepiness during the day, loss of muscle tone, sleep paralysis, and hallucinations. Kris mentioned how her condition has affected her life, as it is something that she continually deals with and cannot cure, though she can treat it with medication.

How Could Narcolepsy Affect Kris & Jeymi’s Future?

Kris explained to 90 Day Fiancé fans that having narcolepsy impacts her life, though it did not prevent the 90 Day Fiancé star from holding two jobs in the U.S. However, people who have narcolepsy could fall asleep in the middle of any activities, including driving, eating, or speaking. Those with narcolepsy can also experience an inability to move while awake due to muscle weakness, as well as hallucinations. All of these symptoms could potentially impact the relationship between Kris and Jeymi if she does not take the time to understand Kris' condition.

Kris and Jeymi are currently eager to tie the knot in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, although their rush down the aisle is clearly a red flag. Kris admitted to not speaking to Jeymi for nearly three weeks, which led to Jeymi talking to other women, including a woman from Texas. If Kris fails to provide Jeymi with enough attention or becomes unavailable due to her condition or other reasons, there is a chance that Jeymi will lash out and end the relationship. However, the 90 Day Fiancé franchise women appear determined to start a life together and get married as soon as possible.
