Fans of 90 Day Fiancé were treated to a happy update this week, as Avery Mills and Omar Albakour provided fans with new information about their living situation. The couple, who starred on the spin-off show 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, has been through many challenges in order to live together. Fortunately, their international love story has a happy ending.
American Avery and Syrian Omar have faced some of the most difficult obstacles out of all the international romances in the franchise. The couple met on a Muslim dating app after Avery made the choice to convert to Islam. Before they had even met in person, the couple became engaged even though Avery was just 19-years-old at the time. The American decided to meet Omar for the first time while on the show, though she has since made it clear that they won't be returning for any additional 90 Day Fiancé content. Avery and Omar married during their first in-person visit despite Avery's mother's reservations. Since Omar wasn't able to join his new wife in America, Avery made it clear that she would move to Syria to be with her husband. After spending over a year living apart while married, the couple recently revealed their new living situation.
The couple has been active this week on their joint Instagram account. First, a picture was shared of the happy couple with the caption “King and Queen.” Then, Avery took to the comments to answer a number of fan questions. After months of speculation, Avery shared that the couple is currently in Abu Dhabi and living in Dubai. A fan asked if 90 Day Fiancé paid well, as they noted the city is very expensive to live in. “90 day fiancé pays terrible,” Avery wrote back. “This is from saving money for a long period of time.” Avery also shared an update on their individual career paths. “Omar is a dentist and he is doing master in periodontics,” she wrote. Meanwhile, Avery stated that she is studying healthcare administration.
It also appears as though Avery has many cooking ambitions. Omar’s wife has been busy on Instagram this week sharing delicious cooking videos with her followers. The couple, who also recently launched their YouTube channel, plans to release more cooking content soon to show fans how to whip up tasty recipes at home. Earlier this month, Avery opened up to her followers about her YouTube plans. "YouTube channel for my recipes coming soon," Avery wrote. "A lot of my own recipes will be on there as well as my friends authentic family recipes from all over the world."
Though the couple plans to be active on social media, Avery made it clear that negativity will not be allowed on their pages. "Anytime someone wants to be disrespectful to us we will gladly delete you comment (; btw my moms adores Omar and I, and always says how happy she is to have him as her son in law," Avery wrote back to one of her critics. Many fans expressed their happiness at seeing the couple together after they were forced to spend so much time apart. The couple also shared that they plan to release a Q&A YouTube video this week.
