From American Ariela crossing paths with Ethiopian Biniyam while hailing a cab to now giving birth to baby Aviel, the TLC couple’s ups and downs have been a subject of many debates. But amidst their religious differences and often arising trust issues, have Ariela and Biniyam made their 90 Day Fiancé romance last? Or has Ariela left Ethiopia already? Here’s everything to know.
Princeton, New Jersey, native Ariela, 28, was married for 10 years to an Argentinian man named Leandro until she met Biniyam, 29, after her divorce. A chance encounter led to a lifetime of reality TV worthy complications for the 90 Day Fiancé couple. But while Ariela took her time to adjust to Ethiopia in a new way as an expectant mother, Biniyam too tried his very best to be a good father. Having lost his American ex-wife Bria and son due to cheating allegations, Biniyam and his family both had their doubts about Ariela’s commitment. But Biniyam’s dancing with his ex-girlfriend for work was a no-no in Ariela’s mother Janice’s books. Biniyam’s folks pressurizing the Jewish Ariela into converting for the sake of baby Aviel’s baptism was predicted via the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way teasers, but the couple did reach middle-ground when it came to the newborn's circumcision. While Ariela had it her way with giving Aviel a Hebrew name, her future with Biniyam still depends on compromise. Still, Ariela giving up on her trust issues, and Biniyam loosening up on his problematic orthodox views, might mean the 90 Day Fiancé couple could walk down the aisle in Ethiopia. A few days ago the American 90 Day Fiancé star wowed her Instagram followers by posting a picture depicting her stunning new loss. In the picture with Biniyam at what looks like an Ethiopian feast, Ariela looks like she’s been through a major postpartum weight loss. But while Ariela denied that the picture is new, fans saw that Biniyam was missing his signature dreadlocks which he had when the first time Ariela had visited Ethiopia.
But, Ariela, who so far has been one of TLC’s most disciplined cast members while following their social media ban, unlike Deavan Clegg or Brittany Banks, did drop a major hint at her still being in Ethiopia via a new IG post. The new mother from 90 Day Fiancé shared a picture with Biniyam from what appears to be the outside of their apartment. Ari didn’t give away anything via her caption, but her location tag reads, “Addis Ababa, Ethiopia” The TLC pair’s photo received a lot of positive comments such as, “you guys look amazing. Blessings” and “my favorite couple.”
To a 90 Day Fiancé fan who asked Ariela, “How have you adjusted to living in Ethiopia?” she replied, “Always loved Ethiopia. That was never the problem.” Given that Ariela appears to still be in the African country with her man, it does look like whatever problems the TLC couple had, are now a thing of the past. Furthermore, Ariela and Biniyam could well live their forever ever after in Addis Ababa, until they decide to fly to America in the future.
