A lot of scandals rocked the 90 Day Fiancé franchise in 2020, and most of them came from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Season 2 of that show had some of TLC’s most dramatic couples, with controversies that jumped right off the screen onto social media. Fans want to know if couples like Ariela and Biniyam and Kenneth and Armando will be making a comeback during 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 3.

Created by Sharp Entertainment, 90 Day Fiancé premiered its successful spin-off 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way on June 3, 2019. While the mothership saw international halves of couples coming to America to start their three-month journey to the altar, this spin-off literally went “the other way” with American partners going abroad. The format was certainly different from 90 Day Fiance Happily Ever After? and it did add some more couple names to the franchise, which already included the iconic Nicole and Azan, Chantel and Pedro, and Colt 90 Day Fiancé (not to mention Larissa). With a lot more drama, cultural clashes, and fights over food and languages (plus plenty of adjustments to worry about), the TLC show made things a whole lot spicier. With a third edition, how different can 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way even get?

Season 2 of the hit TLC reality series was launched on June 8 2020 and had a total of 22 episodes, each more dramatic than the other. While the season was lacking a Tell-All, TLC did give things a twist by releasing a brand new show called 90 Day Bares All on Discovery Plus. With the explosions that would have come out through a reunion special missing, 90 Day Fiancé fans did feel like some couples had their love stories left on a serious cliffhanger. While TLC has not yet announced a season 3 date, considering the 90 Day Fiance Pillow Talk format, and 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Strikes Back episodes still underway on Discovery Plus, a new season could be predicted to return by mid-2021.

Who Will Be In The Cast Of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 3?

Tim and Melyza in 90 Day Fiancé

A mixed-bag of returning and new 90 Day Fiance The Other Way couples made a beeline to show the status of their reckless relationships on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2. These included Deavan Clegg from Salt Lake City, Utah, and Jihoon Lee from Seoul, South Korea, as well as Jenny Slatten from Palm Springs California, and Sumit Singh from New Delhi, India. They were resuming their unfinished torrid love affairs from season 1. Meanwhile, the newer bunch of twosomes featured Brittany from Palm Beach, Florida, and Yazan from Amman, Jordan, plus Kenneth from St. Petersburg, Florida, and Armando from San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico. Also in the mix was Ariela from Princeton, New Jersey, and Biniyam from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, as well as Tim from Dallas, Texas & Melyza from Medellín, Colombia.

As Deavan and Jihoon are almost divorced, Brittany and Yazan are no longer together, and Tim and Melyza have broken up, these 90 Day Fiancé couples are surely not returning. However, with Deavan now having a new Korean-American boyfriend Topher Park, and Yazan being engaged to American Lulu, one may still find them on season 3. Fans still do not know if Kenny and Armando or Ariela and Biniyam are married, which certainly could mean that they’ll come back to tell their TLC stories. Given the way Jenny keeps renewing her visa to stay in India with Sumit, this 90 Day Fiancé veteran may also earn a spot in the upcoming season.

Fans Can Always Expect Drama

Could these season 2 alumni then be accompanied by newer couples, and perhaps some known faces from other 90 Day Fiancé shows such as season 8’s Amira and Andrew? When it comes to TLC, there’s never a dearth of drama, is there?

One shouldn’t be surprised if season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way does take the trouble up a notch by getting more family, friends, and maybe even exes involved.
