Young American Avery had her share of skeptics when she voiced her plans to travel to Syria and marry Omar after she met him on a Muslim dating app. However, Omar and Avery have since become one of the most well-received franchise couples who have now been married for three years.
Omar and Avery might be celebrating their third year of marriage, but the couple first had to overcome many obstacles. The young couple spent the first year of their marriage apart as Omar awaited word about his US visa. Avery then packed up her bags and moved from Ohio to Dubai to start a new life with Omar for the second year of their marriage. The couple was thriving in Dubai, but they moved to the United States together once Omar's visa was finally approved. Omar and Avery now live in the US near his family so that she can pursue her educational goals and he can become certified to work as a dentist in the US. Many 90 Day Fiancé fans regard Omar and Avery as a fan-favorite couple for their genuine love, sweet personalities, and willingness to make things work while also valuing their careers.
Avery took to the couple's joint Instagram account to announce the news of their third wedding anniversary. She shared a TikTok of the couple’s journey that included how difficult it was for them to spend time apart due to “US sanctions,” while they also faced a fair share of people who thought they would split up. “We made it,” Avery wrote at the end of the video. “We can officially say we have been married for 3 years ❣️ only we know how hard we fought to be together and our reward is our lives now. Happy anniversary my love,” Avery captioned the Instagram post. Omar and Avery immediately received an outpouring of fan support in the comments, as they won over many fans over the years.

Unfortunately for fans of the young couple, the latest cast of Before The 90 Days is doing very little to inspire love. Multiple couples on the current fifth season are not even dating, while viewers are finding it hard to root for the success of any of the seven featured pairs. However, 90 Day Fiancé fans are still rooting for Omar and Avery to have a long and happy marriage.
