90 Day Fiancé fans are wondering why Omar is telling Avery to reconnect with her convict dad, Dusty Mills. Avery was raised by her stepfather who financially supported the family.

The series 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way has documented American Avery and Syrian Omar and viewers were starting to see another side to the dentist - a side that seemed to be a bit more aggressive than he had previously been showing. The pair met online through a Muslim dating app after Avery decided to convert to Islam. The couple became engaged to each other without ever meeting and 19-year-old Avery then chose to go and meet her fiancé for the first time as cameras followed her. Despite Avery's mother's wishes, they married upon their first encounter. Avery finally spilled the beans to her mother that she would be moving to Syria to be with her husband Omar if the visa would not allow him to live in America. Avery's mother, as well as many fans, believe this was a hasty and uninformed move since the country has been torn apart by civil war.

According to the reality star, her father has been in and out of jail for the last 17 years of her life. During the emotional episode, Avery decided to introduce her husband, Omar, to her father via a video call. Omar became very emotional as he explained to the cameras that he had lost his father when he was a young boy and felt very privileged to be able to meet his wife’s father.

Viewers are unsure why Avery’s father has been locked up, but it looks like they are looking forward to his eventual release. The TLC personality is genuinely concerned about her father’s health thanks to the spread of the coronavirus throughout the prison. Omar has always encouraged Avery to develop a better relationship with her father and even told her she should star visiting him more often.

Fans were thrilled to see the couple working together and getting on with their married life even though they are still far apart. The couple is still waiting on any news of Omar’s US visa and their fate. If he is denied the couple has spoken about possibly moving to Canada.
