Following an altercation between 90 Day Fiancé's Molly Hopkins' daughter, Olivia Hopkins, and ex-boyfriend Kelly Brown, the former 90 Day: The Single Life couple broke up after two years of dating. Molly first debuted on 90 Day Fiancé season 5, marrying Luiz Mendez. Relationship issues between the couple led to a quick divorce only six months later. Then, Molly returned for 90 Day: The Single Life, where she shared her relationship with Kelly.
90 Day Fiancé's Molly Hopkins is also a well-known regular on the Pillow Talk series of the franchise, often appearing with her best friend and co-business owner, Cynthia Decker. Eventually, Kelly took Cynthia's place on the Pillow Talk couch for some time. However, Molly has since confirmed the November 2022 breakup rumors between her and Kelly, stating it was due to unhealthy stressors and aggressive behavior. Cynthia also revealed a fallout with Molly in December 2022 but denied Kelly's involvement in the split. Recently, Olivia spoke up, sharing details of an incident between her and Kelly, which contributed to the breakup.
Olivia Fought With Kelly Through Text Message
The conflict with Kelly began when Olivia snuck her boyfriend into Molly's house even though he was not allowed. Kelly's aggressive reaction towards led to Olivia moving out into her boyfriend's home, but the fight continued through text messages. Arguments between the two continued because of the prior incident with Olivia's boyfriend and Olivia's issues with how Kelly spoke to her mom. Finally, the conflict escalated when Kelly showed up at Molly's business LiviRae Lingerie and physically attacked Olivia.
The Police Report Details The Altercation Between Olivia & Kelly
InTouch shared some details about the incident between Olivia and Kelly after receiving a copy of the filed police report. On November 11, 2022, Molly, Olivia, and Kelly were at Molly's business, LiviRae Lingerie, when the incident occurred. According to the report, "Kelly was angry with Olivia because of problems with Olivia’s boyfriend." Tension grew as the two argued, and Kelly threatened to come at Olivia. Then, “Olivia said to come at her then. At which point, Kelly rushed to the counter, grabbed Olivia by her neck, and slammed her against the wall.”
Although the incident occurred in November 2022, they did not file a police report until February 2023. Olivia claimed part of the reason why they waited was because of Kelly's previous career as an NYPD detective. When asked for a statement by InTouch, Kelly said, "I never punched her or threatened her with any weapon. I really want to be left alone.”
Since the physical altercation, Molly received criticism for her split with Kelly as well as Molly's fallout with Cynthia since she remained silent and did not directly address the issue. Nonetheless, Molly is sticking by her daughter, which is clear by her breakup with Kelly. For now, it is unknown if the 90 Day Fiancé star will make any statements herself regarding the breakup or the altercation between Kelly and Olivia.
