Olga Koshimbetova and Steven Frend of 90 Day Fiancé season 6 just announced that they are expecting another baby, their second together, and they’re excited for what life has in store for them. Though the controversial couple’s relationship hasn’t always been smooth sailing, they claim to be more committed than ever to making their marriage work. A new baby could certainly make things more difficult, but it could also give the couple a reason to fight to stay together.
On season 6, viewers watched Steven and Olga’s rocky relationship unfold, and it was sometimes hard to watch. The couple met when Russian native Olga was vacationing in Maryland and she and Steven hit it off right away—which led to an unexpected pregnancy. On the show, Steven traveled to Russia to be present for the birth of his first child, though after the birth fans noticed some troubling behavior from the new dad. Olga and baby Alex eventually moved to the U.S. and since then, the couple’s on-again-off-again relationship confused fans. Though they broke up for a time, Olga and Steven have since reconciled and are living together in New York City.
It tuns out the couple will soon be expanding their family, and In Touch reports that Olga is 10 weeks pregnant with her and Steven’s second child. The baby’s gender is still unknown, but Steven couldn’t be more excited. “It’s been a crazy four months living here [in NYC] and this made it more interesting!” Steven commented that he has a “great job that pays amazing,” so supporting another child should be no problem, and Olga will be able to take it easy for a while after the birth. Steven and Olga aren’t the only ones eager to meet the baby, as the couple’s son is excited for the new addition to his family. “Alex is so excited to have a brother or sister, even though he really wants a brother," Steven said. "Alex will be the best big brother ever.”
Many fans still have doubts about how healthy Olga and Steven’s marriage is, and Steven knows that they still have their issues. Steven commented that he and Olga “were really surprised” by the news because their relationship hasn’t been in a good place. However, the couple is currently in therapy and have prioritized creating a healthier dynamic, for the sake of themselves and their children. Though Steven and Olga have enjoyed a more nomadic lifestyle in the past, the two are now ready to settle down. They have decided to remain in New York City for a couple more years and then plan to relocate to the West Coast—the Bay Area of California, to be specific, to be closer to some of Olga’s family in the U.S.
Steven and Olga have experienced a lot of turbulence in their marriage, and having a baby on the way so soon after their major move from Maryland to New York, as well as their recent reconciliation, will definitely complicate things. However, if the divisive 90 Day Fiancé couple can keep their priorities in focus and continue with couples counseling, their new baby may be born into a healthy and loving family.
