Nicole met her fiancé Azan Tefou on season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé. On the show, she went to Morocco to meet him after dating online. This began a tumultuous relationship, where it’s never clear if they are still together or not. For the time being, Nicole appears to be “based in Morocco” with Azan during quarantine, and separated from her daughter, May, who is in Florida with her grandmother. Nicole has been facing criticism from fans in recent weeks for choosing to spend time with Azan over May and using clickbait on her Instagram for more attention. Just this week, she posted a photo of herself crying and wrote, “RIP #linkinbio.” When the link is clicked it leads to an article about castmate Angela Deem’s mother passing away. Fans were furious that Nicole was using Deem’s mother’s passing as clickbait. She also teased pregnancy rumors earlier this year, but they were unfounded.
Earlier today, Nicole posted a sonogram photo on her Instagram, with the caption, “#LinkInBio.” The link in her bio forwards to an article about fellow 90 Day Fiancé alumni Karine and Paul Staehle announcing that Karine is pregnant with their second child. The post left fans and media bewildered about the status of Nicole and Azan; is the couple also expecting or is this another clickbait post from Nicole? Her Instagram story has no mention of the post, and comments have been disabled. Since Nicole is already facing backlash from staying in Morocco during quarantine and away from her daughter, a pregnancy would be bombshell news. Some fans think that Nicole is simply excited to start a family with Azan, and is posting hints of their future plans.
However, many 90 Day Fiancé alumni have been known to get paid to sponsor such clickbait pages, such as Celebuzz. Danielle Jbali is another one of the former TLC stars who have turned to promote clickbait articles in order to help earn an income. Assuming that Nicole isn't working while quarantining in Morocco, it makes sense that she's using her sponsorships to make a little extra cash.
Azan also hit the headlines recently for allegedly having a secret family in Morocco. Rumors circulated that Nicole was actually at an Airbnb in Morocco because Azan was quarantined with his wife and three children. There were also claims that Nicole knew about the marriage and was supporting Azan’s family financially. In Morocco, it is legal for a man to have up to four wives at the same time. It’s been confirmed that Nicole is in fact staying with Azan’s mother in Morocco, and Nicole’s mother, Robalee, has said on Instagram that the secret family rumors are false. However, there hasn’t been any word from Azan confirming or denying the rumors. The 90 Day Fiancé couple has many rumors to address. Hopefully, we’ll hear their side of the story soon.
