Star of 90 Day Fiancé Nicole Nafziger is facing the wrath of TLC fans after sharing an update about Brandon Gibbs' dad Ron Gibbs' illness. Nicole, who was in a relationship with Moroccan beau Azan Tefou for five years, previously revealed they’re no longer together. While Nicole claimed to be “heartbroken,” fans saw this breakup coming from miles away. But more than Nicole and Azan’s controversial relationship, fans have been invested in knowing if Ron’s health has improved since the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Tell-All.
After announcing her split from Azan, Nicole earned appreciation from her followers for enrolling in the State College of Florida, even though it is a challenge for her to go back to school at 27. Nicole is determined to make a better life for herself and her daughter, May. However, as Nicole deals with her new life and gets over her failed 90 Day Fiancé relationship, she has also found a new way to irk critics by posting spurious clickbait links on her Instagram page almost every day.
90 Day Fiancé fans know Nicole specializes in sharing made-up news on her page, along with weight loss products, both of which often fetch her angry comments. In her latest folly, Nicole posted a photo of Julia Trubkina’s husband Brandon, his father Ron, and his mother Betty to her IG story. The text on it read, “Pray for Ron,” with a heart and praying hands emoji. On her feed, Nicole posted the same pic with Betty cropped out while redirecting her followers to the link in her bio. Worried fans rushed to see the update, but it seems to have been about Julia addressing fan concerns about her supposed thyroid issue.
As Nicole disabled comments on her post about Ron, fans commented on her earlier photo where she was discussing hair color options with her admirers. “What happened to ron?” asked one TLC viewer, and another one commented, “PRAY 🙏 FOR RON???? WHY? WHATS GOING ON? TELL US.” A Reddit thread started by u/harperblue21 also saw the fan asking if something was really going on with Ron, and fans again mocked Nicole for posting clickbait to stay relevant. She previously shared a similar story about 90 Day Fiancé celeb Angela Deem by using a fake photo of her. After that, there was an Instagram update insinuating that a 90 Day Fiancé cast member had died tragically, which was again proved to be fake.
While Nicole has admitted she gets paid for each time fans use her shared links, fans have regardless been worried about Ron since Betty spoke of his mystery illness during the recent HEA Tell-All. Brandon was in tears after Betty’s confession and Julia was criticized for rolling her eyes instead of comforting her husband. But Julia explained she’s not one to show emotion on camera and Brandon spoke of wanting to keep Ron’s health issue private. The Dinwiddie resident, however, did give an update on his father’s condition in August where he assured 90 Day Fiancé fans that Ron is doing okay.
