90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way couple Nicole Sherbiny and Mahmoud El Sherbiny's married life is in trouble after the cheating scandal, as revealed in a preview for Tell-All Part 3. Spiritual American woman, Nicole, was on a soul-searching trip in Egypt and happened to walk into a fabric store on her last day there. The manager of the store was 26-year-old Mahmoud. Nicole, 38, and Mahmoud fell in love, and within a week, he proposed. Nicole moved to Egypt and even converted to Islam without having figured out how traditional her husband is, leading to a split within two months.
To Nicole, staying in Egypt was a “rude awakening.” She struggled with culture shock, and couldn’t drive or speak the language. Nicole applied for Mahmoud's spousal visa, but their arguments never saw an end. Eleven months after getting married, Nicole decided to divorce Mahmoud. The Other Way showed Nicole giving Mahmoud one more chance to find compromise, but Mahmoud could not stop asking Nicole to cover her body and hair. When they didn’t fight, however, Nicole and Mahmoud kept showering each other with affection, which gave their relationship an even more toxic quality.
Are Nicole & Mahmoud Still Together After 90 Day Fiancé?
While filming The Other Way, Nicole spent five months in Egypt. Nicole even made a new friend with yoga instructor, Nouran. Nicole and Mahmoud discussed moving to the U.S. together, although Mahmoud didn’t seem to approve the idea. “A lot of things like make me worry about that like I can’t find a job, I can’t find like friends, like, and find a mosque,” he added. Despite his apprehensions, Nicole told her fellow cast members about how she was back living in Los Angeles, and Mahmoud had his visa appointment in a couple of weeks. If Mahmoud's visa was to be approved, he could have come to the U.S. anytime.
The 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 4 Tell-All was reportedly filmed in March 2023. Nicole and Mahmoud were certainly together then, and their social media updates now suggest they're still very much a couple. In April, Nicole shared a sweet photo with Mahmoud captioned, “Love this guy,” and Mahmoud’s comment said, “Love you honey so much.” On April 22, 2023, Mahmoud posted a video from Egypt while celebrating Eid, which means he wasn’t in the U.S. as of a month ago, and is perhaps still waiting for his visa to be approved.
Mahmoud's Cheating Scandal On 90 Day Fiancé Explained
The finale episode of The Other Way season 4 was when Mahmoud's “little chats” were first mentioned by Nicole. Nicole was still in Cairo then but mentioned Mahmoud was talking with “girls in other countries.” Nicole told Mahmoud she went through his phone and saw him texting someone questions such as, “How old are you? What are you doing? Did you make it back to the hotel okay last night?” Nicole admitted she took the liberty of looking through Mahmoud's texts after he stormed off in the middle of an argument. He was seemingly chatting with a “couple of girls.” One of them was from China.
The woman from China was trying to sell some TVs to Mahmoud. Mahmoud thought the woman was being nice and decided he was going to “chat her up,” as per Nicole. Nicole thought Mahmoud shouldn’t have been asking the woman about her age, or sending her cute emojis. Mahmoud tried his best to deny having any feelings towards the Chinese woman and eventually apologized to Nicole. However, in the preview for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Tell-All Part 3, Nicole insists what he did was “totally inappropriate,” but Mahmoud still denied his wrongdoing, responding, “No, no, no, no.”
