Natalie Mordovtseva has been a popular character on 90 Day Fiancé since season 7. While there is not much information about her family, viewers of the hit reality show have seen glimpses of her mom, Nelia, throughout season 7 and the beginning of season 8.

Fans of 90 Day Fiance were introduced to Nelia at the beginning of season 7. Natalie, who is from Ukraine, moved in with her mom after her divorce. Her mom did not like her ex-husband but liked Mike a lot and felt he was a good man for Natalie. Both Natalie and Nelia believe family values are important, and her mom wanted her to marry Mike so Natalie could have a grandchild. Unlike Mike's mom Trish, Natalie's mom was very welcoming to Mike when he came to visit her in Ukraine and is very supportive of their relationship.

Natalie and her mom are very close. At the beginning of season 8, it was very difficult for Natalie's mom when Natalie left for the United States to be with Mike after her visa got approved. Nelia was with Natalie every step of the way at the airport, helping her with her luggage and making sure she was checked in. Natalie is her only child, and Nelia is now living alone in Ukraine, so it was very hard for her to say goodbye. She is okay with Natalie living in America because she wants a better life for her child, which includes being with Mike and starting a family.

Later in the season, Nelia's wish to see Natalie get married was taken away. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she couldn't attend the wedding because it was still unsafe to travel. Natalie broke the news to her mom in tears while video chatting with her. She loves her mom and really wanted her to be there, but understood that her mom was still happy for her and was celebrating from far away.

Natalie is so close with her mom mainly because she grew up without a father. In a recent Instagram post, she revealed her mom worked as a nurse in a rehabilitation center for people with strokes and paralysis. "I didn't see my mom, she worked even at the weekends to send me to go to the best school, and have an English teacher. I grew up smart and educated, but savage and lonely," Natalie wrote in the post. She feels her mother's job took time away from her childhood but respected the fact that she was a single mother and did the best she could to give her a better life.

People who watch 90 Day Fiance can see that Natalie is a strong woman and she learned all of that from her mother Nelia. Even though she is not on the show as often anymore, what viewers have seen is a strong, caring woman who loves her daughter and wants the best for her. Hopefully, fans of the show can see Natalie's mom on TV again soon.
