She should come clean with him because he deserves to know and she needs to be honest about her past if she expects to move on with her life. There could be drama ahead if Natalie continues to be tight-lipped about her separation from Mike, and it could impact her budding relationship with Johnny.
Throughout 90 Day Fiancé season 8, Natalie was trying to make things work with Mike, but she seemed to get more miserable by the day. She clearly hated living in Sequim, Washington, and though Natalie and Mike eventually got married, it wasn’t long before they decided to call it quits. Now, Natalie has moved to Florida and is starring on The Single Life and searching for a man who is completely different from Mike. Natalie’s first attempt to rebound from her heartbreak was on a blind date with Johnny. Though their date was a little awkward, Johnny wanted to go out again, and the two saw each other again in a recent episode.
Both Natalie and Johnny are pursuing careers in modeling, and they ran into each other at a runway walk class and Johnny still seemed very interested in Natalie. However, she still hasn’t come clean about being legally married and commented that she’s afraid of how Johnny will take it. That’s certainly no reason to hide something like that from someone, and Johnny deserves to make an informed decision. Keeping information like that from a romantic partner isn’t fair, and if Natalie continues to hide the truth from model Johnny it could impact their potential future together.
Natalie’s hesitation to come clean about her past is also an indication that she isn’t completely over her marriage to Mike. It’s a sign that Natalie is holding on to the past, despite all her claims about wanting to start fresh. Natalie will never be able to move forward if she can’t even be honest with people around her about her history and relationship status. Natalie is definitely aware that her marriage could be a deal breaker, and she owes it to Johnny to let him make his own decision.
It’s understandable that Natalie is looking for a new start on 90 Day: The Other Way, but she needs to remember that she has a responsibility to be honest with potential partners. Although Natalie may feel hesitant to tell Johnny just yet, especially if she likes him, he deserves to know that she’s not divorced, so he can decide if he wants to continue pursuing her.
