Narkyia Lathan and Olulowo Shodipe first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé season 4. Despite numerous red flags at the beginning of their relationship, the two prevailed and are still together.
When fans first met Narkyia and Olulowo, 90 Day Fiancé fans did not think they would last. Firstly, Olulowo spun a web of lies. He told Narkyia that he was a Nigerian Prince, that he lived in Alabama, and that he was taking care of his son because the mother of his child was dead. However, after a little snooping, Narkyia found out that he was lying about everything. The mother of his son was very much alive and when she contacted the woman for more information, she found out that Olulowo did not live in Alabama. He was actually in Vietnam, where he was studying business. Apparently, Narkyia was very much in love, as she dove into a relationship with him regardless. She brushed off the lies and gave him another chance. They got married and Olulowo arrived in the United States of America on a K1 visa. Although their relationship started on a rocky note, they are still going strong.
Recently, the two even welcomed a baby girl, Nifemi Denise Shodipe. Their daughter was born on August 26, 2020. The couple threw an adorable baby shower and posted a video to YouTube. In the @90day_kyia_ Instagram post announcing the birth of her baby girl, Narkyia wrote, “Let me introduce you all to my Baby Love and Lowo’s little twin, Miss Nifemi Denise.” Narkyia has also been keeping fans informed about her weight loss journey. On her Instagram, she posted a before and after photo highlighting her post-partum baby body. She looks amazing. See the cute baby girl below:
Narkyia hopes to get a tummy tuck procedure to help with the rest of her weight loss but before she can go under the knife, she still has 30lbs to lose. She commented that she does not know how she will do it, but she will figure it out. Her determination is inspiring, and so is the way that she and Olulowo have managed to stay together despite everything. They've created a nice life for themselves.
The pair follow in the footsteps of other longtime 90 Day Fiancé couples like Paola and Russ Mayfield and Mike and Aziza Eloshway, The franchise is filled with endless amounts of drama, so it’s always nice when fans hear that the alums are together and happy.
