Molly Hopkins appeared on the fifth season of 90 Day Fiancé with her now ex-husband Luis Mendez. However, recently her daughter Olivia has been making headlines due to an altercation between her and her mother. It ended with her being arrested.
Molly and Luis were doomed from the start, something many 90 Day Fiancé fans were keenly aware of the moment he landed. Molly had brought Luis over from the Dominican Republic after meeting on her holiday there. He was a bartender and the two fell in love. When he landed however the relationship with Luis and Molly’s daughter Olivia however was extremely tense. Olivia openly spoke about how she did not agree with the reality TV star's decision to remarry and was hostile towards Luis. Olivia was also incredibly sassy toward her mother during her time of the show and was disrespectful many times. Things got worse when Luis had a blunt conversation with Olivia about intimacy and boundaries were crossed. Luis and Molly ended up getting married, then divorced, and his departure did not repair the relationship between the mother and daughter – if anything it worsened. They got back together for a bit, then Olivia moved into her boyfriend’s house. She could not believe that her mom would move in with a man she only knew for two months. Recently, their relationship has deteriorated further. Olivia was charged with battery for attacking her mother for being a bad mother. However, outside of this violent altercation, is Olivia Hopkins.
According to Olivia's Instagram, she is an influencer and works with a brand called Boutine LA where she models their ensembles on her page. She goes on holiday often as she was recently in Puerto Rico. Other 90 Day Fiancé alum have even commented on her photos like Cortney Reardanz, who appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Olivia also seems to have a close relationship with her father, as she posted a photo on her page captioned, “tell me I don’t look like my dad.” She also has an older brother from her dad’s side and a little sister whom Molly had with another man.
Olivia and Molly have been at each other’s throats since they appeared on our screens. It is sad to see that their relationship has worsened and that Molly still has not dropped the charges, but fingers crossed they have a family intervention and sort everything out. Even after the cameras stop rolling, 90 Day Fiancé cast members continue with the drama like with Larissa, Colt, and Debbie who will probably never be tired of shading each other.
