New 90 Day Fiancé season 9 star Miona reveals the real reason she cannot move to South Dakota to stay with Jibri Bell. The upcoming 2022 installment of the show features Miona from Serbia and Jibri from Rapid City, along with five other new couples who hope to get married in the finale.  The 23-year-old Miona has already caught the attention of viewers due to her Instagram where she’s already 35K plus followers strong. Jibri is a part of a band, and the 28-year-old singer met Miona when he was performing in her home country. The couple immediately hit it off, and Miona is coming to America on 90 Day Fiancé.

Serbia will be featured on 90 Day Fiancé for the first time through the eyes of Miona who calls herself a feminist and activist on social media. Miona has a keen interest in makeup and beauty and seems to be working as a makeup artist. Upon moving to the U.S. however, Miona will have to say goodbye to her dream of living glamorously in Los Angeles. With Jibri having moved back into his family’s South Dakota home for a year, Miona will have to not only adjust to the small town but also to Jibri’s family with whom she will have to live.

In a 90 Day Fiancé preview clip posted by ET, Miona tells Jibri how she really feels about starting a life in South Dakota. Jibri admits he and Miona haven’t discussed finances, which has put a lot of pressure on his shoulders. Los Angeles is a dream that can be achieved but “not right now,” Jibri admits as he’s shown video calling Miona who’s still in Serbia. Jibri asks Miona to consider staying in South Dakota and getting married there when she declares, “I don’t want to live there.” She doesn’t have a nice way to say it, but Miona feels like if she wanted a small city life, she “could have stayed just here in Niš.” Miona bluntly tells Jibri she doesn’t see herself coming to America and living “like a 50-year-old.”

Miona is sorry for voicing her thoughts so harshly, but Jibri understands his wife-to-be’s grievances easily. Jibri assures Miona that they won’t be spending the rest of their lives in South Dakota, just “six to 12 months” including a wedding. “When you tell me about getting married there, that sounds even worse than living in South Dakota,” exclaims Miona. She believes that marriage is a one-time thing that needs to be really special. “I thought we agreed on a beach wedding. I don’t know why you’re changing it now, it’s not that big of a deal,” Miona tells a frustrated Jibri. Meanwhile, Jibri thinks Miona fails to comprehend that he could have been in LA recording an album with his band but has moved back into his parents’ house just to get Miona to the United States.

So far into their storyline, Miona looks demanding and selfish as she’s putting her own dreams first before Jibri’s. Miona and Jibri are not on the same page in 90 Day Fiancé season 9, but spoilers suggest they did end up finding the perfect location for their wedding. Both Miona and Jibri use his last name on Instagram, which is a clue about them having gotten married. Miona’s makeup business is also based out of Palm Springs, CA, thus confirming that she not only ended up with Jibri but is also chasing her biggest dream.
