New 90 Day Fiancé star Miona Bell recently shared several health care obstacles that she has encountered since moving to the United States. Miona is one of several new cast members featured on 90 Day Fiancé season 9, along with her fiancé Jibri Bell. Miona and Jibri met in Serbia, where Miona lived while Jibri was touring there with his band. The two formed a quick and passionate connection, and as a result it did not take Jibri long to propose, which Miona happily accepted. At the start of the season, Miona traveled from Serbia to Rapid City, South Dakota to get married to Jibri and begin their new life together.

Throughout the season, Miona has faced several obstacles in struggling to adjust to life in South Dakota with Jibri. Jibri often expresses that he is worried he may not be able to provide the lavish lifestyle that Miona desires, such as wishing to live in Los Angeles. In an effort to save money, Miona and Jibri decided to live with his parents for some time. Jibri's mother has also run into several disagreements with Miona, including her disapproval of the way Miona dresses.

In a series of recent Instagram stories, Miona revealed to fans that it has been "super scary" dealing with the healthcare system in the United States. Miona explained that Serbia is a country which provides its citizens with universal free health care, and that adjusting to that not being the case in the United States has been difficult. In particular, the Serbian 90 Day Fiancé star was worried when she began to run low on birth control pills, as everyone around her told her she would have to pay "hundreds of dollars" just to get another pack. However, Miona says that Planned Parenthood was ultimately a "life-saver" for her, providing her with "free prescription and pills delivered to the house."

Birth control is not the only medication that has been difficult for Miona to find access to. In a following story, she detailed her frustrations in trying to obtain contact lenses, UTI medication and even motion sickness pills. "Everything was either so complicated, crazy expensive, or long wait," she commented. It seems like ultimately 90 Day Fiancé star Miona was able to get everything she needed, but she acknowledged that for others that may not be the case. Clearly, Miona is disappointed with the access to health care in her new country, and she ended her Instagram message "USA as one of the wealthiest country in the world needs to do better."

Miona is certainly a firecracker, as witnessed on the show, but it is clear that she speaks out on the issues she is passionate about, with American healthcare system being no exception. She isn't the only foreign franchise cast member to struggle to get basic medical care, as 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Hamza Moknii also had a hard time getting and affording dental work. Miona is having a difficult time on 90 Day Fiancé season 9, and with her added struggles with the American healthcare system may be making her regret leaving her home in Serbia.
