Furious viewers accused the Serbian native of blackfishing, pretending to be a different race online through skin tanning, hair braiding, and other style choices. Miona was later called out for being married to Jibri, a man with an immature and antagonistic personality. Viewers labeled the duo clout chasers who seemingly inflated their success, as they went from being dead broke to buying brand new his-and-her sports cars within a year. Reddit user u/treehead726 called out 90 Day Fiancé cast member Miona for using images of the late Selena Quintanilla in her Miona Beauty marketing. "So is using Selena's image to sell her products okay because Miona Beauty is not a real business or??" the shady user wrote. Many commenters were furious with Miona and slammed her for being disrespectful. "Horrible! I am a huge Selena fan and this pisses me off big time!" one horrified user wrote.
