The 90 Day Fiancé season 8 Tell-All may have seen Natalie Mordovtseva maintain a vow of silence, but Mike Youngquist’s mother Trish spilled some piping hot tea and could be a true franchise villain. The TLC couple Mike and Natalie, who shocked host Shaun Robinson by coming back for another season, finally got married in the finale. However, it was a journey of ups and downs, including Mike dumping Natalie two hours before the ceremony. Could Mike’s mother Trish have been the one who actually made him break up with his 90 Day Fiancé partner Natalie in the first place?

The 90 Day Fiancé season 8 finale gave the franchise a new married couple, Mike and Natalie. However, fans wondered how long would it take for Mike and Natalie’s marriage to fall apart. As expected, the Tell-All, which was filmed a little less than a year after Mike and Natalie’s wedding, showed their relationship in a bad light. Natalie ranked her relationship with Mike a six out of ten. When she claimed she’d left her ring at home, it seemed like the number she had picked should have been even lower. Mike then revealed that he’d gone missing for a long time on the night before his wedding. The reality star had gotten cold feet but Natalie claimed he’d cheated on her again.

Natalie chose not to answer most of Shaun’s questions. She stayed mostly silent, but Mike’s butter-loving mother Trish had a lot to say. Trish said that Mike didn’t like the fact that Natalie had no respect for him, was trying to change his life, and has “a jealousy factor.” Trish shared that Mike calling off the wedding didn’t come as a surprise to her. She revealed that her son had called her and told her that he was giving Natalie money, and booking a plane ticket for her to go back to Ukraine. “It was just days before the wedding when he told me that,” Trish said. She added that it was a “good idea” since their relationship was “a little sketchy.”

Furthermore, Trish also revealed that she was unhappy about Mike and Natalie finally getting married (Uncle Beau made a bold fashion move at their wedding). Trish confessed that she'd asked their neighbor Tamara to object to the wedding during the ceremony. “Why would you want to see two people get married when it’s such a mess,” the mother added. “Who wants to bet Mike's mom is the reason there are problems between him and Natalie?” wrote Twitter user steftravels, and “Mike's mom should have never been in Mike's relationship. His mom is messy smh,” said another Twitter user, neizhab. Some fans agreed that Trish’s views were a result of Mike venting to her.

Another Twitter user kbaby82 noted, “I understand why Mike’s mom didn’t want them to get married but Mike is in his 40’s and he made the decision to bring Natalie to America.” However, the buck doesn’t stop here for Mike and Natalie. The trailer for their comeback in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6 shows Natalie asking Mike why his mom called her “a hooker,” and then leaving in a car. Natalie was crying as Trish told her son, “send her back to ******* Ukraine.” While Trish was a great butter advocate in 90 Day Fiancé season 8, she might need tips from Jovi Dufren’s mother Gwen when it comes to being a better mother-in-law in the spin-off.
