Until recently, fans thought Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva’s troubled marriage ended in January, but Mike recently posted a video with Natalie’s dog that has everyone reevaluating the couple’s relationship status. The 90 Day Fiance stars’ relationship was rocky from the start, so it was a relief to everyone when rumors spread that they broke up. Now, Mike’s new video has thrown everything into question. If there’s one couple from the franchise that continues to keep viewers guessing, it’s Mike and Natalie.
The couple kept fans on edge throughout season 8, but towards the end of the season, Uncle Beau spilled the news that Mike and Natalie had gotten married but had since split up. The news didn’t surprise fans much, because most had assumed that even if Mike and Natalie made it down the aisle, there’s no way their marriage would last long. Even their frosty attitude toward each other at the Tell All suggested they’ve split. However new evidence has once again thrown Mike and Natalie’s relationship status into question.
Mike posted footage of a husky dog named Nymeria playing around by the ocean shore. But fans in the comments section were quick to recognize the dog as belonging to Natalie. She’s posted pictures on her own Instagram account before of her with her husky Nymeria, so followers were shocked to see Mike spending time with the dog. Though Mike responded to many commenters, he was conspicuously silent when his followers pointed out that Nymeria was Natalie’s dog.
It’s hard to picture a scenario where Mike is spending time with Natalie’s dog without them being together. She seems to have grown very attached to her pup, so it would be odd for her to let Mike have a puppy playdate, especially if there was bad blood between them. It also seems doubtful that the two are sharing custody of Nymeria. The video does seem to indicate that Mike and Natalie have reconciled, much to the surprise of fans—many of who didn’t even think Mike wanted to marry Natalie in the first place.
If the 90 Day Fiancé couple really are back together, Mike’s video is a pretty reckless clue about their relationship status. Then again, Mike and Natalie are set to appear on the spin-off Happily Ever After?, and their season would be a tough sell if they’re broken up. Fans will have to decide whether they think the video is a plant by TLC to convince viewers Mike and Natalie’s relationship is legit, or whether it was an accidental slip up by Mike—because it can’t be both.
